She's a young girl finding her way - at least, that's how RTD wrote her.

I'm sure you would agree.

In one foul swoop you have the issue of the Doctor's isolationary existence solved, they could have a kid to continue the Time Lord chainplus you get some continuity with the assistant. Anyone wanna bet that RTD might be thinking along those lines?”

I love that idea! rose regenerates, they have a kid, The Doctor goes through his final regeneration, Rose becomes the new 'Doctor' and travels through space as a single mother.

Can anyone remember how he Doctor and SJS actuaally parted? I don't recall it myself. The most memorable parting that i remember was when the Doctor left Jo Grant in the Green Death. That was very sad. The last time I saw Sarah Jane with Dr Who 3 was in The Five Doctors, the last time I saw her with Dr Who 4 was The Genesis of the Daleks, I think...

At the end of the story The Hand of Fear, SJS throws a bit of a wobbly and tells The Doctor that she wants to go home. The Doctor is summoned back to Gallifrey and takes SJS back home much to her disappointment. They do part on good terms.

Where Sarah wasn't even slightly jealous of lovely young Tegan. (Perhaps it's because they each had their own Doctor? )

Wouldn't it be great if we got to see all the K-9s? Not just Sarah Janes, but also Romanas and Leelas? Imagine three of time racing around the place? Wouldn't that be fun

Captain Jack did fondle the breasts of one the 'What Not to Wear' droids in 'Bad Wolf'.

I think Captain Jack was not bi-sexual, but omni-sexually, and amoral until he met the Doctor.
