Stuart, are you off on your "Alternative" kick again?

I swear, you must regularly such the Forums for the word "Alternate" just to jump in and correct the poster!

Or was it someone else who started doing that on another DW thread. Since I started typing this post I can't remember ...

The episode set in 18th century France is actually the 4th episode, and it's called The Girl In The Fireplace

[SPOILERS]

The last 2 episodes (Army Of Ghost, Doomsday) allegedly features both the Cybermen and the Daleks.

Just trying to spread a little education!

Sorry but it does get my goat a bit - it conjures up images of two parallel worlds and constantly flicking back and forward between them. And don't get me started on "new innovation"...!

Anyway, my predictions for best epiodes of series 2 are: School Reunion and Rise of the Cybermen. I'm just a traditionalist at heart!

Actually, I'm all for it.

Since reading and contributing to DS, my own spelling has gone downhill a little. (I even caught myself using 'past' when I meant 'passed' the other day. )

As for the spoiler info., thanks a lot. It sounds great!

It is just our eagerness to keep on posting that causes us to make mistakes..either that or the sherry!

Slightly off topic but are we looking at a March kick off for the next series?

I wonder if we will see a trailer for the next series after The Christmas Invasion or just a teaser to whet our appetites?

Do you wash out your Indian-blue rinse before you can admit to reading Heat?

No blue rinse I'm afraid. Just my mohican!

Completely off topic I know but why are the times on the posts completely out of synch with the actual time?

Allegedly, the "Next Time" bit features clips from more than just the first episode. Apparently we'll see a bit of SJS (which bit, I'm not sure!)

I predict a montage.

Like the one they released for the first series, from which we all learned of the Reapers.

If anyone suggests 'Murder on the dancefloor' I will accuse them of being an EE fan.

Well in the fast paced work environment you give what you can and since this was not work related I gave what I could in the fastest time I could (so I wouldn't get a rollocking.

My apologies for upsetting the purists but I was just trying to spread a little insight in to what's to come for other Doctor Who fans.

RTD revealed in his DWM coloum(sp) that the episode running order will be changing as they've found a better way of revealing this seasons story arc.

It's worth noting that a lot of the dalek talk has come from the OG summary of 12/13:

"The Cybermen have awakened in our universe, and they've allied themselves with something from the Doctor's past..."

Now lots of people would naturally assume this means daleks, but it's worth remembering that when it was revealed an enemy from the doctors past returned in boomtown, everyone tied themselves in knots trying to work out what classic series monster it could be, and of course it turned out to be the bloody slitheen.

I think something similar is going on in series 2 (28). At this point I think the "something from the Doctor's past" the cybermen are allied with is John Lumic, Roger Lloyd-Pack's character.

Why are you apologising? Nobody's having a go at you for a few inaccuracies (except Stuart, but he's having one of his pedantic episodes so just ignore him! ). It's not a problem, we all compare notes and update each other's information, so that eventually everyone knows everything. That's the way it works.

No need - nobody was upset and we're all grateful for you sharing what you know.
