So how accurate or reliable do you think the info on the site is?

So do you think the Time War is going to feature again very heavily as theme throughout this series?

Even though their second appearance in the last series was slightly better than the first, I was hoping we had seen the last of them for a while. If the rumours are true I wonder if using them, along with the Gelth is more to do the budget than anything else?

Dunno - looks more like it's being set up to be the arc of the third season, going by those rumours.

Interestingly, they seem to have acquired the transmission dates - or is that just speculation based on last year's do you think?

Can only be speculation based on last years transmission as schedules are subject to change if they have been finalised at all.

As much as I am intrigued by the Time War, how it has affected the Doctor and other species it will be interesting to see how it develops but I hope it isn't dragged out series after series.

Well, I'd have to go back and check, but the Gelth were involved in the Time War, so, if any of the Aussie speculation is true, it looks like the series finale may be the start of it all. However...

*Begins thinking alopud*

RTD has said that a Christmas episode should be something Christmassy, not just a trip to Southend.

But wonder what he might think about a HUGE MAJOR storyline, such as the Time War involving three incarnations of the Doctor for the (already confirmed) 2006 Christmas special?

So if it is the start of the Time War then the rumoured appearance of the Daleks would be true.

As for a three Doctors special..as long as Tom came back for it I would be happy! Not much chance of Chris methinks!

perhaps we will get mccgans regen sequance at the end of the series as a surprise but i doubt chris would return as i said i want peter to come back after all bar Paul M he is the most likely to return and he was spotted on set of Dr who.

Apparently Tom was begging for a part in the series..how true that is given the rumours that do the circuit is anyones guess!

well it says on IMDB that both Colin and Tom were interested and i think Tom once said he would only do a voice over, I think that was said once on gallifreyone

Think I heard that too..as a Time Lord but obviously not the Doctor. Be a bit weird hearing his distinctive voice as someone else other than the 4th Doctor.

It would be very interesting to go back and see the beginning of the Time War, especially if the factions rumoured to be involved, turned out to be true but as I said I wouldn't want to see this theme dragged out over too many series.

Yes same here but if they are going to do a multi doctor story, if there is 4 original doctors in it say 4 doctors dont call it the 7 doctors i feel the 5 doctors episode was a right cheat

Not a spoiler - not sure where it should go.

Its sort of funny and not, but I was just taking a remote control dalek out of the pakaging and it fell on its head.

The eye stalk broke off. Damn! Its just like being a kid again: I always broke things quickly!

The thing is, it didn't even have the decency to say, 'My vision is impaired. I cannot see'.

I'll be completely honest and say I don't think the Time War was featured heavily. It was spoken about and alluded to on a number of occasions, but there were no actual specifics about the war itself. I'd actually like to see some of the war that took place in this series, which I hope we will.

I SO want to buy a remote controlled Dalek, but two things are holding me back: The first is I'm a 37 year old man who should know better; The second thing is I have a wife.....

Happy Christmas everybody.

I think it would be great to see TB return in a cameo as the President of the timelords. (Obviously not as the Doctor, which I don't think he could get away with these days - but a cameo for a 'role' he had all those years ago would be fantastic.)

I think a lot of programmes these days are guilty of dragging things out for far too long (Look at Shelly and Charlie in Corrie, for example. The characters obviously have their analogues...)

Happy Christmas, everyone.

Not unless the twist was that it was not the Daleks and TimeLords who started it...

Ah, but they could just use some stock footage as they did with Tom Baker for the 5 Doctors
Or Sylv McCoy in a wig...

Get cats - and when they misbehave, your wife will be grateful that you bought a remote control dalek to keep them in-line.

Believe me - it works 1000%.

I, too, am a 37 year old man. But I don't know better. I'm getting a remote control dalek for Christmas from my family. I had to email them the specific link so they got the right one. I have wooden floors. The dalek will be able to go everywhere. It can sit with me and watch Doctor Who on the LCD TV tonight through its little eye. That's what a good Christmas is about.

I think the eyestalk comes off - have you tried putting it back on again or is it definitely broken?

To my great surprise, I got one from my kids. Apparently they refused to let my wife leave the shop without one! There's hope for them all yet!

Merry Christmas, everybody!
