Rossy had "The Lovely Christopher" on the week before the Super fab and groovy new series started all those years ago...well March 2005. I suspect that JonJo Ross will give us a few clips of the Christmas episode only. And why not. We've become a little bit greedy have we not, years and years have gone by without WHO and now this year we want EVERYTHING, NOW!!! Be thankful for what we get. It's been a long time coming, and it's not going away anytime soon. So be happy, enjoy what the very lovely BBC give us over Christmas, and remember that not only have we a whole new series to look forward to come March, but also we get to indulge in the Capt Jack spin off Torchwood straight after.
Please, lets us not forget the years in the wilderness.
I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! Christmas Day can't come soon enough. And it's been about 30 years since I last felt that way.
FANTASTIC!

Yes, it was a very nice interview - and we got a couple of clips as well.

Things with piper are and always have been up in the air. The dreamwatch mag story saying she was only going to be in 3-7 eps of season 2 was reportedly true at the time it was written- may- since then she seemed to change her mind (although the bbc offering her a pay cheque the tabloids reported to be around £465 thousand for season 2 no doubt helped her decide.)

It was said the night the mirror reported she was leaving she left a restaurant and told reporters there it was all lies and she would never let RTD or the fans down.

As mentioned, it all appears to be up in the air. Lets just wait and see.

I agree it's unlikely we'll get a taster of the new series - I just meant we might get the best taster of the Christmas special before Sunday - and yes I am greedy!

I think it's best to keep it up in the air about Billie's involvement in future series because then it'll be more of a shock when she leaves.

bump!

The programme's also on at 10.55 on BBC1 Scotland and 11.25 on BBC1 Northern Ireland (for those with Sky) - just in case one is a bit late, being the season to be jolly .....

Oh, just noticed there will be a repeat on Tuesday morning (27th) at 2.20, also on BBC1.

It looks like DT said he's going to say another series (if he hadn't got the sack - which I'm sure he won't ) on the Johnathen Ross show!
I'm really looking forward to that tonight! I like Johnathan Ross and I think he's a really funny chat show host!

Yes he does and it's quite pleasant to hear the star of the show say that he enjoyed watching it as a child.

There's been a load of interviews in the press, on radio and tv, and he comes across as a really decent bloke. The Radio Times interview was one of the best, just came across as someone you want to succeed.
The various pieces on Radio 2, Wales and today's bit with the mighty Bowman just confirm his lovelieness.
We are loonies, and we are proud.

Thought he came across very well in the interview and you could tell he does feel quite passionately about the role and the 'responsibility' David feels comes with it. As if we wouldn't like him! All bodes well for the future.
