Cheapest texts?

Anyone know which network offers the cheapest texts? (On pay as you go.)

I'm currently with O2, paying £3.59 a month for 50 texts (which is more than I use). This works out at 7p a text.

Is there any network with cheap texts, that can be paid for individually, rather than having a set number to use per month?

I think Fresh do texts at 5p each - they used to anyway

Mobile World do them at 7p each

Im on the Virgin Web 400 bundle where I pay just £10 for 400 texts each month working out at just 2.5p per text to any network!

Aye, but if you only send one text per month will cost you a tenner won't it?

That's why the OP asked for non-bundled costs.
