Stacy moves so effortlessly I'm looking forward to seeing her dance. Hopefully her partner Tony will choreograph routines that show off her best. I think she could have done a lot more with the rumba had he done a more creative routine. I wonder what her background is in terms of dance training etc. I mean besides the 'wrestling'
I'm not surprised that they left.
Was there any more controversy?”
Um, I actually quite like wrestling, hence why I know about Stacy.

Each to their own, I guess .
In essence, Stacy Keibler in Dancing with the Stars is this series' equivalent of Jill Halfpenny in SCD Series Two. It seems self-indulgent to quote yourself, but I'll reiterate what I stated on the first page of this thread:

Her dance experience will definitely be a strong asset and her flexibility is impressive, so I see Tony making the most of that. Given the amount of times I've seen the female participants performing the splits on the dance floor, Stacy will probably end up cartwheeling around and showing off her athleticism.
On paper, I honestly cannot see anyone beating her. And she has a huge following in terms of her wrestling fan base who can keep her in every week. However, the competition hasn't begun yet, so the other contestants may be able to match her abilities. For now, my monopoly money is on her.”
Stacy has a dance background, but not in Ballroom or in dances that require a partner. See the article excerpt below:

Stacy Keibler: I started dancing when I was young, and I was a dancer my whole life until I got to high school and got into cheerleading. When I was dancing I would dance three times a week and compete on the weekends, and all I did was dance. I would tell my parents that I didn’t want to dance and wanted to play other sports like soccer. My mom always said “no, you’re going to break your legs, you have to keep dancing.” I always complained about it, and now my mom is like, “Oh, so now see where dancing has gotten you.” I also won a dance competition to become a Nitro Girl for WCW. And now who knows what will happen because I’ll be in a dance competition on national television. So, I have to thank my parents for pushing me into dancing when I was growing up. I’m not only going to do this for myself, but I want to do this for every WWE fan out there.”

Unless the public vote turns against her as was unfortunately the case with Zoe or injury forces her out, I maintain that Stacy will win the competition. However, I would like to see the others improve as it is still an early stage in the competition.
Controversy
The other talking point is our friend Master P. He was alleged to have been offered some proper Ballroom dance shoes by his partner Ashly, only for him to drop them on the floor and kick them away. Whether this has been sensationalised for ratings, I couldn't say. Still, it has provoked furious debate on the Dancing with the Stars message board - let's just say that our American compatriots are less reticent about making their opinions known to others. People have questioned whether he is really trying or being respectful of the Ballroom dance world. I haven't seen the vignettes, so I have no idea. Personally I think it's been blown out of proportion and it detracts from the hard work of the other competitors.
I don't have much to say about the eliminated couple, apart from the fact that I would prefer to review their dance once Raphael puts it online. Certainly, there may have been some backstage tension ...
