Yes, it is early! Too early And the summary makes it sound absolutely boring... yet another episode revolving around the tripe that is Kalfie which has gone on for more than two years now...

These threads being made early are annoying, even at Xmas. I get to one and see its 3 pages and expect a decent discussion only to find the first two pages filled with

"I can;t wait"

"Its too early"

"I luv it"

Same old same old. It used to be much more fun in the old days when people posted after or when it was being broadcast.

Oh well.

I agree with you Polly, there is nothing worse than having to catch up with things that arent on topic.

You can look forward to it and it was just the exciting episodes I could understand but you may as well post next weeks episodes if you apply that logic.

Anyway Im only talking for myself. I find it annoying but we have this discussion at least 3 times a week.

Well I'm looking forward to it. My christmas so far has been the stuff of festive nightmares. My wife got loads of pressies - mostly from me I might add - and all I got was a £20 Millennium boxset (which she bought when I was with her yesterday), a bottle of whisky and a bottle of copied Dolce & Gobanna spray from my mother-in-law. So the fact that Eastenders is on in 3 and a half hours makes the day seem not so much of a wash-out after all.

I liked when they showed two seperate episodes like the year Arthur had his breakdown. It was on twice, I think it was the first UK soap to do that.

I don't think EastEnders will win the ratings battle this Christmas. Corrie has the 8m slot which EastEnders normally.

Shame as it looks like it will be the best.

With Sarah Phelps and Tony Jordan writing it should be classic.
