Great ratings news. I really wish that the full series were timed to run January to March, so we'd have the benefit of the higher winter viewing figures and watch the whole series in the atmospheric dark nights: just a small quibble though - Who fans have never had it so good or had a brighter future !

hopefully nothing, I'm glad ITV didn't get too much in the top ten. Filling Christmas day prime time on what will soon be Britains most whatched channel with Emmerdale, WWTBAM, and Corrie is terribe. Although they were one of the only two too have a new seperate one-off drama (booze cruize2). The other being C4 at 6:35pm. Alth ough booze cruize is C.H.A.V material.

Well they didn't make the top ten, so it must have been less than 6.2m

Ant and dec was not on christmas day, so they would not of been in the top 10 cause thats just for the big day its self

Very respectable figures given that people have more to choose from these days in terms of satellite/cable etc. Good stuff!

Ah, that explains it then

Having caught a small bit of it yesterday on ITV2, I can't believe that some have said that Doctor Who Christmas Invasion was childish - just take a look at Ant and Dec to see what childish really means.

I thought he made a public apology regarding his cancelling of DW once he saw how well-received the new series was.

Indeed he did, so let's not harp on about the bloke - he's seen the light!

So DW joint with Corrie eh? That'll show 'em after the pulverising DW used to get in the McCoy years...

I haven't a clue what that is supposed to mean - care to explain?
