Thats a common symptom of Alzheimer's. You can recall certain things, like numbers. Something to do with the part of the brain.

Tonight's First Episode
Again, not a brilliant episode as it seemed to be lacking a certain something.
The Webster stuff was ok & it was nice to see Kevin telling Rhursie & Sawfie what Sally was like when he first met her. Wasn't that keen on the Liz / Vernon stuff ~ it's hard to see precisely where this is going beyond the possibility that Vernon's just using her as cheap labour & for somewhere to stay. The Battersby-Brown stuff was a bit rubbish too ~ it was a bit contrived given that we've never seen Mr. Wong in The Rovers before. The Baldwin stuff was ok though it's hard to see quite why Viv can't accept that Mike has should see the doctor, especially given his comments about her dead hubby in yesterday's episode. Bev was quite sweet in The Rovers when she was trying to placate Ashley & Claire. I liked the way she said "He's excited, we both are", as though she really does see herself as Fred's girlfriend now. 5 and a half out of 10. |

I am really disliking Ronnie. she overacts all her lines. i cant stand the way she tries to look cute but sexy... she looks neither. Her and steve have zero chemistry and her mole is growing as each day passes. She loos like someone has chucked a turd on her face. Maybe its 'Hanky the christmas poo' spreading some xmas cheer on the street, lol

2 good episodes tonight, liked all the scenes with the Baldwins, Not liking Leanne trying to manipulate Danny though
Penny is working really well in this storyline. The Websters were very good too, Sally is obsessed with board games especially Ker-Plunk! Jack and Vera were also very good, Steve and Ronnie were OK, but I do hope this stuff with Ronnie and Jimmy stops soon. 7/10 8/10 |

90210 & Coral you guys are so funny
Who does she think she is giving steve £5k of Jimmy's money - does she have a death wish. Her hair gets more & more out of control by the episode. Loving Vernon though - hope he & Liz make a go of it! |

Karen was a god. even suranne jones said that he laughed when she did her 'Karen' face!!! Loved her - bring her back!!!!
p.s everyone goes on about Charlie/Tracy/Amy however Ronnie (McDonald) doesn't seem too enamoured with Amy either... |

Well if they are going to keep her in it, then they are going to have to start giving the mole a separate salary. It certainly acts the socks off of ronnie anyway. I'm sure i saw the mole moving tonight. I think it was trying to speak!!! |

Does anyone think Ronnie looks too old for Steve? I do, he needs someone younger.

One thing puzzled me tho' - did Steve say that the present for Ronnie had turned up on his kitchen table??

Yes the street hasnt been the same since she left. They really need some strong female characters like her around. I think they should try and get the character Linda back. She was always good to watch and it would be good to see some interaction with her and Mike before he leaves for good. |

Tonight's Second Episode
Was no better & no worse than the first episode.
The best scene for me was the one with Ronnie & Jimmy inside the prison. Loved the way that she said she'd accept pressies & then threatened him with the taxman & said that she was in a position to carry out her threat whereas he wasn't. The scenes with Liz & Vernon and Craig & Keith seemed to be pretty pointless (although there are probably some people out there who were pleased to get a better look at a topless Richard Fleeshman (Craig). The Baldwin saga moved a little tonight. Presumably Danny telling Mike that he's fine is the start of the next part of the storyline where he starts lying to Mike in an attempt to turn Mike against Adam & Penny. The stuff with Jack, Vera & Hilary was ok. Wonder whether they cut the drink being thrown for timing reasons? 5 and a half out of 10. |

I hope Mark makes an appearance in the future during this storyline, he would really stir things up. During the Baldwin Family Album, there were really good scenes with him and Linda and the whole affair storyline.
