Recieved second hand Motorola V525 for xmas, sim card troubles
Here's the situation, I recieved a Motorola V525 phone for xmas, second hand from my mum. It's packaged with Vodafone, but the sim card I have on my old nokia phone is a payg O2 sim card. I've tried transfering this across to the V525 but when I do it asks for a sim pin (which is what I set it to on my old nokia, it works fine) but after that it asks for a Subsidy password. I have no idea what that is, where to get it, or if it's even possible to obtain one.
So that's basically the problem I have at the moment, if anyone can help. A few other queries I have are 1. is it possible to use an O2 sim card on a phone that seems to be endorsed by vodaphone live? 2. If not, how much is a payg vodafone sim card for this phone, where to get one, and is it possible to my O2 number over? Thanks very muchly. |

Try a local independant mobile phone shop, the type which offers a phone unlocking service. I have a Moto E550 which I recently had unlocked for £7.50.

It'd be easier to buy a new sim direct from vodafone for a couple of quid wouldn't it?
Then contact o2 to see if i can transfer my number to the new sim. Thanks for the responses. |
