Opinons Please
The time has come for Mrs Controller and I to upgrade our phones. We're considering the Sony Ericsson K750i or the Samsung D600.
Anyone that has one of these or that can offer any opinion? |

I got a k750i and have played with the D600, have to say that while I slightly prefer the looks of the D600 (not by much) the software on the k750i is much better, the phone seems to do more of the things I want it to do & is all round an excellent piece of kit.

Thanks. That'll pretty much decide it then, Mrs Controller prefers the look of the K750, and I am slightly sceptical about the charger on the D600 - my current D500 charger is giving grief after just over a year.

The thing with a K750i is that it's a Sony Ericsson, so if you enjoy a phone with slow processor speeds then fill your boots.

Not noticed any sort of slowness on mine, everything is instant. My Moto V80 (hence forth known as the evil phone) and Siemens SL65 were much less responsive.

Up until recently I had a K700i - I hated the processor being about 2 words behind me when I was texting. The K750i is apparently the same.

Mr Jamsarnie has a K750i and he thinks its brilliant. I have had a play with it and I am impressed, it looks good and does what it says on the tin. I would highly recommend it.

personally i prefer the k750i. i currently have both and would say my favourite is the k750i. the d600 is a very good phone but the k750i has better camera, you can change themes, change message tones and have music playing whilst doing something else.

If i had to choos between the 2 I'd go with K750i

I agree with posters who say that the processor is a smidgin slow on the K750, however, I would still recommend it over the Samsung.
