Invalid file

Hi all,

I recorded Doctor Who on Christmas night and tragedy has struck. The archive listing for it registers it as an "INVALID FILE". Any idea why this is - or how I can access it?

I know it's repeated on Sunday, but I worried it may happen to one-off events.

Ive only had that when my topy has lost power during a recording or when its crashed during a recording, which last happened in october during the BBC MHEG alterations.
ive got the that episode sitting on my toppy, its 2,390MB in size, which i think is to big to send as an e-mail.

That may explain it - thanks. Bloody typical it would happen then!

It's registering the size of the file, just no info or running time, and won't play it.

I guess I'll have to wait until Sunday...

Good point - no it didn't download - should I have done it manually?

Thanks Richard - all installed ok, but no change - looks like I'll have to wait until Sunday.

It happened AGAIN!!!!!

I can't believe that it's coincidence. Could it have been to interactive thing at the end that interfered with the file?

At the end of both showings I pressed red - and the function didn't work properly - I got a message saying there was a technical problem. But my thinking is that this was on another channel... so it couldn't have affected my recording of BBC1/3 could it?
