2005 - The year of British Music?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/default.stm#
(Note you woul need real player to play the video) Well apart from the God awful rappers from the States, a certain naked frog and ONE X-factor thing. I would say yes. There has been a lot of guiter-based British music now coming in from 2002. Please discuss and slate this decades music as not being as good as the ninites Mr Blobby or Aqua.

I think it's been a fantastic year for guitar based indie/rock - I've been to 20+ gigs this year!!!
Only niggle with the video, neither Keane nor Snow Patrol released anything new in 2005. Much expected from them in 2006, however. Highlights of 2005 for me included new releases from : Stereophonics Language Sex Violence Other, Starsailor On the Outside, Coldplay X&Y and Feeder Pusing the Senses. ark |
