I've just had a new phone. This morning I switched it on, and recieved a message from O2:

"Want to send picture messages? Text ACTIVE to 2020 and we'll send the settings to you for your phone. Save those settings and you'll be set up!"

So I texted them. They replied with:

"Reply with the number next to the phone make e.g. txt 1 for Nokia..

1. Nokia
2. Sony Ericsson
3. Samsung
4. Motorola
5. Siemens"

So i texted '2'. They replied with:

"Welcome to 2020. Please reply with the number only:"

And that was the entire message.. what number am I supposed to reply with? I'm slightly confused as to what they mean!

The settings arrive, but they don't install.

I've decided to use my new sim card, as my old one is obviously too old for WAP etc.

Now I need to work out how to swap my old number to my new sim card! (Anyone?)

Thankyou crowfield, I will try that in the morning.

Hopefully they will be able to do that for me.

Yes, you might be able to keep your old sim card - it could be a case that you just need GPRS & MMS enabled on your account for you to use it. But customer services will give you the answer for sure - I will just have 02's bank account instead.
