Sky Guide on HD

Another 2 page spread on Sky HD in January edition - saying that film "Kingdom of Heaven" available soon on SBO HD.

Now we know that this film is on SBO SD in January can we work out how long films remain on SBO - may give a clue to launch month? Long shot......

They also mention US series "Over there" as being in HD - that commences 10 Jan on Sky One SD....

Getting soooo close I could scream.....

SBO movies can be available for a few months.

sky will do whatever it takes to get '24' on our screens in HD by the first week in feb.
but they wont announce anything as sky are notorious for failing to meet deadlines

For software updates yes but they have an excellent track record on hardware perhaps because they do not announce a launch until they are ready

I think there's another thread somewhere where I mentioned that a few of the US series starting in January are starting going to be on Sky HD. I said then that either that's when the launch will be or they'll show the episodes after the Sky One run has started.

January makes sense because that's when Sky traditionally premiere new shows, if they launch in April they'd have to wait at least 6 months before they had something new to show, although it'd be new for HD
