Hi i'm hoping someone on here can help me.
I recently upgraded my mobile. I sent my old one to a friend, but when he received it he was unable to use it. The phone was packaged well and doesn't seem to have been damaged in transit in any way at all.
However when we try and switch it on, all that happens is it either doesn't switch on at all, or it gives a message saying "Contact Service". This appears in red writing on a white background. Once, when it powered on it said the phone was locked, and to enter an unable code.
.
I tried what i thought it was asking for, the phone's security code, but this didn't work and the phone switched itself off
The phone was working fine when i sent it, and he never entered any security codes or anything so I cant understand why it would no longer work.
The phone is a Nokia 7250i and is unlocked to all networks. I have tried contacting both o2 and Nokia on the freephone numbers to no luck at all, as they are either busy or their offices are closed.
If anyone is able to help resolve this, or supply any help it would be much appreciated.
Many Thanks
