EPG on DHD4000

I bought the DHD4000 for myself as a christmas present (how sad, do i not have anyone to buy it for me?).

All set up and works fine.
I do however, have a problem with the EPG.

At least I think i do, you just go to Calendar right???

I live in a semi freeview area... You can get some channels but not all (damn you countryside)

Is there anyway I can check why the EPG is failing or is it just cos freeview isnt fully supported? or any other diagnostics i can do?
Apart from that I love it especially the twin tuners.

Ive checked the "Technical Help" screen and it should 7/89 channels found

Any help would be spiffing!

The DHD4000 downloads the EPG data at 3am everyday from a specific MUX (I can’t remember which – it is mentioned in more than one of the other DHD posts) so you need to make sure your DHD is on (standby is ok). And can receive all of the MUX’es

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/terrestrial/mux/

Will show you which channels are on which MUX, can you receive all the channels listed?

The easiest way to check the EPG is to press the Guide button!

Also there were reports that sometimes it takes 2 or 3 nights before the EPG will download the first time, thereafter its ok.

Just looking at some other post, the channel you need is number:
300 - 4tvInteractive.

It is only broadcasting between 3am and 4am

Well it did an update once , 30th Dec i think

But has done none since

Ive noticed an orange light flashing during 3 and 4, is that a good/bad thing?

I think that's just when it's performing a download of the EPG.

It should return to normal after that.
