Okay.
We ALL know Dennis is murdered tonight.
But the one question is: WHO KILLS HIM?
My local newspaper states that viewers will be pondering for weeks as to who it could be!
Let's discuss and see who has the perfect motive.

Doesn't he beat up Johnny (who ends up in hospital in a life threatening condition)?
Thinking it may be someone seeking revenger like i dunno ruby? or juley (used to be a gangster type haha)
either that or phil's been working as a double agent
other than that i'm stumped - these are just suggestions remember!

I've heard from different places (magazines, internet etc.) two different things; that's he's shot, and that he's stabbed. I'm thinking shot, because we all know Johnny has a gun and whatnot, but I guess it COULD be stabbed, although I'm sure Dennis is quicker than that!!
I'm sad he's going tonight though :[

You really shouldn't 'Who Kills Dennis?' as a title iiHEARTy0u , someone could want it to stay a surprise.

I know what you mean plus it's much more dramatic if he's shot because you don't know where it's come from and it gives us a really good who done it but i can't help but wonder if it's going to be just another who shot phil mitchell type thing.

I don't think we are going to see the stabbing.

Just somebody follows him, then next scene he lays in a pool of blood.

i would have liked to see maybe the weakest character in the soap (you guys and debate who that is) take centre stage and witness dennis' murder and help phil and sharon bring johnny down. someone could be out either walking their dog or taking a stroll and sees dennis approached by johnnys assasin. the person in question could then witness the whole thing, hiding away until the assailant vanishes, then alerting everyone about the stabbing. just an idea.

apparently everyone in the vic hears dennis' scream as he is stabbed and rush out to help. dennis is to die as sharon tries desperately to save him.

That was horrible.
I can't believe he's gone.
At first i thought it was gonna be Phil but now i'm not sure!

Reading some of the above posts (pre-tonights episode) and actually seeing what happened tonight shows what a load of crap people make up.

To be fair, either Johnny or Phil could have hired the guy to stab Dennis. At the end Phil was just standing over whilst others rushed over to Dennis' body.

That's my guess too, it has to be an established character or the build up to whodunnit won't be worth it.

yeah it hink the fatal thing was johnny had his phoen in his hand and thats obv why the camera clearly showed us the pic of johnny lying on the floor clutching his mobile.Obv enough time to have made a call and got him killed - as lets face it , the bells had just gone

Yeah it *must've* been the guy that banged into him as he was coming out of Pauline's, but I just don't get it... was the killer aware Johnny had been killed first? Must've been. We saw Johnny lying with his mobile in hand. At first I thought the reason for that was because it'd have Dennis' fingerprints over it when he threw it to him to call an ambulance... but now I'm thinking Johnny used the mobile to arrange someone to do Dennis in when Dennis refused to save his life, instead of actually calling an ambulance??? Idiot!! That was really sad - I hadn't seen any newspapers or spoilers anywhere and didn't expect it! I cried
