I can't see a thread for this anywhere, but the title says it all really.

More can be found here.

Cheers Den! Nice to see the viewing public recognise the impact DW had in 2005.

HA! Glad Doctor Who won that. Personally, I voted for the Dalek in the cage scene but this scene is equally as thrilling.

So many good scenes to choose from, difficult. Mine would have been either the scene between The Doctor and Jabe when she tells him that she knows who he is or when Rose tells Jackie that the Doctor took her back in time and she met her father. Both very powerful and emotional.

The iconic picture from the series, from a general public point of view, I would have thought would be the Spaceship crashing through the clock hitting Big Ben.

Still, glad Doctor Who won.

I would have gone with the regeneration. I'm surprised that wasn't nominated.

Yes - the first ever regeneration that happened whilst the Doctor was standing.

I think as the BG said, there were so many fantastic moments from the new series that it was extremely difficult to choose.

Good to see that people gave DW the recognition it deserves, though.

I like the way Biillie gets sent up to collect all the trophies on her own too - hopefully it incentivises her even more to stick around.

And isn't that just fantastic in itself!

I'd have gone for the 'Doctor! The Doctor?!'

But I also loved some of CE's looks, And lots more.

I loved Chris's 'Fantastic' bit at the end, still makes me so sad, and the scene they showed with the banana was really good. And the bit when the Doctor thinks Rose has died in Bad Wolf, awesome acting.

Glad that it's got so many awards on the first series.

It was such a shame that Jonathon Ross had to make the jibe that Chris quit. Cheap, pathetic shot I thought. It's testimony to the acting and the writing team that Chris made such an impact in such a short time.

Good news but I was expecting this to be honest, as it was an internet poll. Dr Who fans control the internet.

To be honest I didn't even know you could vote for it on the internet though I imagine many did.

I would have gone for the "everybody lives" speech at the end of Doctor Dances. Brought a little tear to my eye
