Moto V3 Messaging
Hey guys, I have a little problem with my V3. Whenever I want to send SMS or MMS messages, I have to go through the phonebook, highlight the name of the person i want to message, press the option button, go to send message, select the type of message blah blah blah.
The thing is, in the manual it says to go to the Message Centre and choose New Message. Unfortunately, my phone doesnt have that option. In the picture in the manual, the phone has about 8 menu items, but my phone only has 3, Message Inbox, MMS Templates and Browser Msgs. It's not that big a deal if I'm just sending a messages, but if I'm trying to SMS someone not in my phonebook it can be a bit of a hassle. Also, I noticed I can't reply to messagesfrom the inbox, which is pretty annoying too. Jack edit: oh, and could this be because I turned my phone on before the guy at the shop said i should? He said I had to wait two hours to let the SMS Update text come through before turning it on, but knowing me, i turned it on 15 mins after I got it and never got the text. But everything seems to be working ok apart from that. edit2: oh, im on Orange btw Last edited by jacksteruk309 : 01-01-2006 at 13:32. |

I 'think' orange have to activate the features. That is what the SIM update does. Give them a call, explain, and i think they will just send you another SIM update.
