The tape would have footage of dennis decking johnny and then johnny ordering the kill...

why doesn't phil just hand that in? Conspiring to murder must carry a good few years in prison

johnny probably didn't need to say anything, just a phone call or a text. Also its not really Phils style and dennis mentions that phils told him everything which would mean sharon and everyone would find out.

I wonder if Johnny had the time/sense to call an ambulance for himself as well as a hit man for Dennis??

i dont think johnny called the hitman, i believe the hitman must have already been in walford and some how some where keeping an eye on dennis. Johnny probably instructed the hitman to kill dennis if he was still around at midnight. i think johnny probably called for an ambulance for himself...

CCTV doesnt record sound usually. Although it suddenly did when Chrissie confessed ( he). Anyway Johnnys not stupid he could whisper it. Or text it. Plus he has a good alabi for not killing dennis. (He was in the office on the floor going into a comer)

He cant hand it in otherwise he would have to implicate himself in what happened. Especially regarding Sharon finding out that Phil revealed all to Dennis. So he took the tape initially to protect Dennis.

Johnny made the phonecall to order Dennis to be murdered (personally an ambulance may of been at the top of my list but hey ho) so now Phil will take matters into his own hands. Sharon will end up supporting Phil in avengeing her husbands death thats until she finds out Phil's involvement.

Yep thats very plausible. Think about it if he wanted dennis out by midnight he'd have a hitman on standby. All he'd have to do is phone an ambulance. which would proove him innocent of Dennises death as he made the call just minutes before. But it also may have been to get Phil on camera. What puzzles me is why did dennis go to kill Johnny for after Johnny said its just banter (hes not really going to kill him)? Why did Phil even go to the office? Did Phil believe Johnny to be dead? How can Johnny have been dying from a bit of a beating? Why did Dennises first/second punch leave him with cuts all over his face like he'd been scrammed?

Johnny needs better security at that club though Theyre a bit useless, and always seem to wander off when someone wants into the office. He obviously doesnt feel the need to get a lock put on his office door

I think we should see the footage where Johnny just says "Do it" before falling unconscious. The hitman was already under orders to carry it out at Johnnys command.

I assumed that Phil took the tape so that Dennis couldn't get in trouble with the police for attacking Johhny or something like that but Johhny may not have needed to call anyone if Dennis was being watched by Johnny's hitman the whole time.

well if he was watching the whole time did he not think to see what he was doing in johhny office if he new johhny would be at risk

wait, all he did was smash johnnys face into some glass, and punch him about twice, is that enough to kill johnny? I'm asking because dennis did mention that if he can't get to the phone he dies.

The way I look at it, Johnny's security was lax because he had the bouncers ready and waiting for the order to kill Dennis anyway.
