EE Birthday My Script

So heres my script but a few things I have made up

All the Wikks have arrived and Kevin has stated dating Naomi's mum Grace played by Diane Parish

Joe's daughter has arrived Shelly, with he boyfriend Colin

Peggy has revieled to Phil a secret boyfriend Barry King and he has a daugher Lauren King

Grant and his family have arrived

Gus and Juley's parent Lucy and Ron Smith have arrived and Ruby and Juley are back together

So here we go

Eastenders Birthday Episode

Scene 1 – A car pulls up in the market you see two heels walk into the fowler back yard and a hand knocks the door

Sharon – Hello Pauline
Pauline – Sharon you made it
Sharon – Well you need a bridesmaid since shell aint coming don’t you
Pauline – O Sharon

Scene 2 There’s a knock on the door at the vic Peggy comes from the back of the Vic and heads towards the door

Peggy – Coming just a sec

She opens the door and honeys sitting on the kerb of the pavement crying Peggy sits down next to her,

Honey – Morning
Peggy – what’s up darlin?
Honey – My, my, my dad died last night
Peggy – And Billy let you come to work, wait till I see him
Honey – No he doesn’t know I’m here, he’s still asleep
Peggy – Go home darlin your better there
Honey – But what about the wedding
Peggy – It’s Ok we’ll cope, go on its freezing out here

Honey stands up and slowly walks across the square, Peggy goes back inside the Vic

Scene 3 Sharon, Dot and Pauline in the fowlers living room

Dot – Are you looking forward to today
Pauline – Yeah of course, I’m just so nervous
Sharon – That’s normal
Pauline walks over and opens a drawer and pulls out a box and sits down at the table they open the box Sharon picks one a picture out of Den, Angie, Pauline and Arthur, Dot lifts one of Lou and Pete and Pauline lifts one of Sharon, Shell and Mark.

Sharon – I miss them so much
Pauline – I still can’t believe there all gone
Dot – these are great pictures

Martin walks in

Sharon – Morning Son
Martin – Sharon it’s good to see you, tea anybody
Dot – O yes please
Sharon – would murder for a cup
Martin – Jamie
Sharon – I never meant
Martin – No I was supposed to meet Sonia at his grave yesterday

Sonia walks in

Sonia – What happened yesterday
Martin – Sorry I forgot
Sonia – If you didn’t want to go you could of said you promised me
Martin – I did forget I just remembered
Sonia – save it for someone who cares

She storms out the Fowlers

Martin – So mum tea

Pauline stands up

Pauline – I need to be somewhere
Pauline walks out
Martin - Mum

Scene 4 – Juley walks into his bedroom with a tray of food, ruby’s in bed.

Juley – Made you breakfast
Ruby – Great, but we need to tell him
Juley – What today
Ruby – well yeah
Juley – If you’re sure
Ruby – Yeah today.

Scene 5 – Pauline’s sitting on Arthur’s bench, Martin comes across the square and sits next to her.

Martin – Thought I’d find you here
Pauline – Where else would I be?
Martin – Looks like you’re on another planet
Pauline – I’m just thinking
Martin – Well that’s a first
Pauline – Oi you respect wouldn’t go a miss
Martin – Just messing with you
Pauline – I was thinking about what Arthur would have thought of me getting remarried, he would of hated it I was his woman not Joes I can’t go through with it.
Martin – Ok what did he care about your happiness, are you happy with Joe
Pauline – Yeah of course
Martin – Well then he would want the marriage to go ahead then
Pauline – Yeah he would, thanks martin
Martin – well are we going back in the house I’m freezing out here
Pauline – of course

They walk back towards the fowlers but stop when they here

Dawn – Martin wait, I was just coming to see you, morning Pauline good luck today
Pauline – Are you coming to the ceremony then
Dawn – well I haven’t been invited yet
Martin – I meant to ask you
Dawn – Well ask me then
Martin – Would you like to be my date to my mothers wedding
Dawn – Em No Kidding yes I would love to be your date well that’s that sorted Next thing I don’t want to leave today I’m staying
Martin – Good
Dawn – What
Martin – Cause I’m staying to
Pauline – Yeah

Scene 6 – In the wicks kitchen, Kevin, Pat and Carly are sitting around the Kitchen table, Deano is making breakfast

Deano – It will be ready in a minute

Kevin stands up

Kevin – let me do it
Deano – no its ok I can do it
Kevin tries to take the frying pan of Deano who wont let go of it, Deano burns himself
Deano – A look what you’ve done now
Kevin – Sorry
Deano – but you not are you that’s my point, this is why I came to walford in the first place, that’s why I told pat you where dead you have been like this since mum died
Kevin – It’s not my fault you’re a Pathetic Little boy, I wish had nothing to do with me; you’re a disgrace of my family Deano.
Deano – Is that what you really think of me
Kevin – Yeah, No I don’t know
Deano – Forget it dad I don’t want to know

Deano walks down the hall and leaves the house after slamming the door

Pat – That was a bit harsh wasn’t it
Carly – Yeah it was
Kevin – o shut up the two of you
Pat – I think the sausages are ready
Kevin and Carly look at her
Pat – What I’m hungry

Scene 7 – Garry, Minty, Naomi and Keith’s Flat, All sitting on the sofa.

Garry – So any of you going to this wedding
Naomi – I am
Minty stands up and runs out the room screaming
Minty – I’m gonna be sick
Keith – I’ll stay and look after him
Naomi – (Mumbles) Poor Minty
Garry – Now are you sure you can look after yourself let alone Minty
Keith – Very Funny

Scene 8 – In the market the Wedding cars drive of, Sonia and Mo are waving them off

Sonia – Hope she has a good day
Mo – Poor Joe
Sonia – What do you mean?
Mo – Well he’s gonna be stuck to that old cow know
Sonia – Mo you nasty sod
Mo – That’s me darlin

Scene 9 – There’s a knock at the door at the Wicks Pat goes to answer the door Pat opens the door

Steven – Gran

Pat – Steven Son
Steven – Can I stay here for a few days.

Scene 10 – The Wedding Music starts to play, Joe looks up the aisle and sees Pauline she reaches up the aisle and stands beside Joe. He whispers
Joe – Hello Darlin

Scene 11 – Peggy, Phil and Grant standing outside the pub, putting up a banner saying congratulations and Johnny is coming across the square. Phil and Grant are both on stepladders.

Peggy – Higher Phil
Phil – There
Peggy – Lower a bit
Johnny – No higher
Grant – butt out
Johnny – ok

Johnny kicks Phil’s stepladder away and he falls to the ground. Grant jumps off his stepladder and follows Johnny into the market. He holds his fist up to Johnny’s face.

Grant – You want this
Peggy – leave it Grant
Grant walks over to Phil and helps him up
Grant – You alright
Phil – yes I will be
Peggy – Now lets get this banner done

Scene 12 – Back in the Church

Priest – Do you take Joe Macer as your lawful wedded Husband?
Pauline – I do

Scene 13 – Back outside the Vic
Peggy – Perfect
Grant – Thank the lord
Phil – Pint Grant
Grant – Yip

Scene 14 – Back in the Church

Priest – Do you take Pauline Fowler as your lawful wedded Wife?
Joe – I do
Priest – You may now Kiss the bride
They Kiss and the people watching Cheer

Scene 15 – Outside the Church, people throwing confetti over the couple, people taking pictures

Joe – I love you Mrs Macer
Pauline – I love you two Mr Macer, but I’m staying as Mrs Fowler is that ok
Joe – of course darling

Joe walks over to where Shelly, Colin and Martin are standing

Shelly – Dad I’m so proud of you
Colin – Yeah well done mate
Martin – You will look after her won’t you?
Joe – No I’m going to beat her up in stuff
Martin – That isn’t a funny subject
Joe – Sorry of course I look after her I love her

Scene 16 – Billy comes across the square and sees Honey sitting on Arthur’s bench but Lil Mo stops him.

Lil Mo – Please Billy just give us one more go Please Bill I love you
Billy – Well you never when you were with Alfie did you
Lil Mo – Please Billy
Billy – No Mo it’s over between us I love Honey now and I need to see her and your in my way.
Lil Mo – So it is over
Billy – yes
Lil Mo – Well I’m going to leave then
She Kisses him on the cheek
Billy – And that was for
Lil Mo – being my prince Charmin, I’ll always love you Billy Mitchell say goodbye to Honey for me

She heads over to the Slater’s

Billy sits next to Honey

Honey – I miss him so much Bill
Billy – Of course you do
Honey – I love you, you know
Billy – I love you two

He gets onto one knee

Billy – Sue Edwards will you marry me
Lil Mo – No Billy
Billy – where did you come from
Lil Mo runs off to the Vic
Honey – Yes I will
Billy – Yes

Juley walks past

Juley – Alright Billy-boy
Billy – Honey’s agreed to be my wife
Juley – I thought you were married to Maureen
Billy – Yeah but
Juley – Billy the bigamist
Juley walks off to the Allen’s
Billy – what’s his problem?

Scene 17 – Ruby answers the door

Juley – Is he in a good mood?
Ruby – Hopefully
Juley – Are you ready?
Ruby – Dad can you come down please
Johnny - just a minute
Ruby – In here

They go into the living room

Johnny walks in

Johnny – What’s he doing here
Ruby – we need to tell you something
Johnny – what the hell is going on

Scene 18 – In the Vic, Honey and Billy walk in

Peggy – You don’t need to come in Hon
Billy – Were engaged
Peggy – What
Billy – Honey and Me are
Peggy – Yeah I heard
Phil – Grant and me are going out
Peggy – Hope its not Johnny’s
Phil – Stay out of it
Peggy – Ok
Honey – I want to work Mrs Mitchell
Peggy – If your sure get behind here

Scene 19 – Back at the Allen’s

Johnny – Your pregnant and keeping it
Juley – Why wouldn’t she keep it, we made it
Johnny – Too much detail

There’s a knock at the door

Juley – I’ll get it
Johnny – No I’ll get it

Johnny opens the door

Johnny – O the Beetroot twins, come in.
Phil – There’s my granddad
Johnny – Is that the best you can come up with
Grant – Were coming in
Johnny – O no your not
Phil – this aint panto granddad
Juley – Were going to go Mr Allen
Johnny – Ruby go on
Ruby walks out onto the square and Johnny slams the door
Johnny shakes Juleys hand
Johnny – you better look after her
Juley – I will now I’m going
Juley leaves
Phil – now we need to talk
Grant starts rummaging in the drawers and finds Johnny’s gun
Grant – Phil
He throws the gun to Phil who catches it and points the gun at Johnny
Phil – Now Mr Allen you are going to leave Walford here’s your choices Willing lay or in a coffin
Johnny – you aint got the guts
Grant knocks a vase onto the floor by accident Phil jumps and accidentally shoots the Gun it hits Johnny and he falls to the floor
Grant – That was an accident right
Phil – We need to go now
They walk out the house

Scene 20 – In the pub and Pauline and Joe walk in

All – Cheer
Pauline – O don’t

Garry, Naomi, Oliver, Belinda, Pat, Sharon and Billy are standing by the bar, Honeys behind the bar.

Billy – Pat me and Honey are engaged
Pat – Bit of Advice Honey, Run, Run and Run Fast
Billy – Oi
Garry – If things don’t work out you can always come and find us.
Naomi – Oi you your worse than Billy
Oliver – Billy did you even remember the ring
Billy – Of Course
Belinda – well I’m going over there before he kicks off
Sharon – Well I’m happy for you bill and you honey

At the other side of the bar Lil Mo’s behind the bar Charlie, Belinda and Stacey at the other side

Lil Mo – I phoned Lynne today
Belinda – That’s nice for you
Lil Mo – I’m going to Live with her
Stacey – Your leaving Walford
Belinda – Well Noticed Sherlock
Charlie – When
Lil Mo – Tonight
Charlie – Tonight
Lil Mo - after work
Stacey – Look at the bright side Freddie wont be keeping me awake all night now.
Charlie – Stacey

Phil and Grant walk back in and go in the back

Carly walks over to Stacey

Carly – Have you seen deano today
Stacey – No why
Carly – He and dad had a row and he went out and never came back
Stacey – I’ll go and look for him, anything’s better than this bore fest

Stacey leaves the pub

Scene 21 – Upstairs in the Vic

Phil – I’m going to leave Walford
Grant – Are you sure
Phil – Yeah
Grant – When
Phil – Get Mum and Billy to the tube at 8

Scene 22 Back in the Vic Grace and Kevin are sitting in a booth.

Grace – Do you like me
Kevin – Of course
Grace – No do you really like me
Kevin – no I really, really, really like you no actually I love you
Grace – Can you take me home then
Kevin – Ok babe
Grace – This wedding is boring, I’ll cook you dinner darling.
They get up and run out the pub

Scene 23 – Stacey walks into the allotments Deano’s sitting on the bench

Stacey – I found you then
Deano – Hi to you to
Stacey – Don’t use that attitude on me, so is this all about that row with your Dad
Deano – well em Yes
Stacey – What
Deano – What
Stacey – You said well
Deano – just leave it
Stacey – No I wont just leave it, tell me
Deano – Just leave it can I have a hug
Stacey goes to hug him and then goes to kiss him instead but he rejects it
Stacey – What you doing
Deano – That’s the well
Stacey – explain
Deano – I’m, em
Stacey – spit it out
Deano – I’m gay you happy now, you cant tell anybody
Stacey – Why you shouldn’t be ashamed
Deano – I’m not ashamed
Stacey – Well what then
Deano – Just leave it
Deano walks off
Stacey – Blimey

Scene 24 – Back in the Vic, someone walks in the door

Steven – Hi dad
Ian turns towards the door
Ian – Steven
Peter – bro
Steven – Alright Peter, Lucy and
Jane – Jane
Steven – All Ian’s Latest, aunt Pauline
Pauline – Steven
Stacey walks in and stands next to Ruby
Stacey – (To ruby) I like, I like what I see.

Scene 25 – Keith walks into Minty’s bedroom, Minty’s in bed

Keith – you felling any better mate
Minty – Am I going to crazy or can I smell gas
Keith – Yeah its really strong, well I’ll make you something to eat
Minty – Great
Keith leaves the room

Scene 26 – The camera is on the square looking at the allens house and at Mintys flat a car starts to drive pass and the block explodes and the car is tossed across the square

Ian comes out of the Vic and runs back in

Scene 27 – Back inside the Vic

Ian – Phone the emergency services there’s been an explosion Ruby get onto the square, Garry your flats alight

Garry – What

Ruby, Stacey, Juley, Garry, Naomi, The Millers go onto the square

Ian – everyone else stay in here its safer

Scene 28 – On the square

Ruby falls to her knees in tears

Garry – Mints (tear in his eye)
Naomi – It’ll be ok gaz

Rosie lies in tears in the street
Dawn – Mum
Demi – Dad
Darren – Dems don’t
Mickey – I’ll take the kids home mum
Dawn – that’s great Mike
Mickey – don’t call me that
Dawn – what
Mickey – Mike my name is Mickey, come on Kids

Mickey, Demi and Darren go over to the millers

Scene 29 – In the Vic

Peggy – that’s you finished Mo
Lil Mo – Good Everyone (Shouts) Shush, I just want to say bye as I’m going across the road then I’m leaving Walford
Billy – Mo is this about me and stuff
Lil Mo – Do you know what, not everything revolves around you Billy you really are a loser aren’t you.
Billy – what’s got into you?
Lil Mo – I’m standing up for my self
Oliver – maybe you should sit down because that was rather harsh
Honey – it was a bit harsh
Lil Mo – your welcome to that loser
Charlie – Mo be quite at One point you loved him
Lil Mo – Sorry Billy but I’m having a bad day
Billy – I will miss you
Lil Mo – I will always love you Billy no matter what
She walks out followed by Charlie, Big Mo and Belinda

Scene 30 – At the Millers

Ryan – Keith’s dead
Mickey – yeah and it’s all your fault
Ryan – I never started the fire
Mickey – No but you made him move over there.
Mickey storms out the room

Scene 31 – Back in the pub someone puts there hand on Sonia’s shoulder Sonia turns to see who it is

Sonia – Billy
Billy – alright sis
Jim – Good to see you son
Billy – can I stay for a few days
Dot – Of course you can

Barry and Lauren King walk in

Barry – Hi darlin
Peggy – Hi Honey
Lauren – Your busy I see
Peggy – Pauline and Joe’s Wedding
Barry – O yes

Scene 32 – At the Slater’s

Big Mo – You all packed
Lil Mo – Yip
Big Mo – Every little thing

Stacey walks in

Stacey – There’s a taxi outside, It’s for you Mo are you leaving right now
Lil Mo – yeah

A car horn goes

Lil mo – I better hurry up
Big Mo – I’ll miss you darlin
Belinda – Love you sis
Stacey – See you
Charlie – You’re my little girl and always will be and you know there’s always going to be a home here for you
Lil Mo – I know
Charlie – Bye darlin
Lil Mo – please don’t come out, lets go then Freddie say bye bye
Freddie – Bye
Lil Mo – Bye Guys

Scene 33 – In the Vic

Grant – Mum, Billy you need to come now
Peggy – Why
Grant – Just do it
Peggy – Honey your in charge look after the bar
Grant – Carla help honey will you
Carla – Ok
Grant, Peggy and Billy leave the pub

Scene 34 – Back in the slaters

Charlie – o Girls
Big Mo – It’ll be Ok
Stacey – Yeah

Scene 35 – Back at the Vic

Carla – who’s first
Lucy Smith- White wine and a pint of lager
Patrick – Pint and red wine and a packet of Salt and Vinegar crisps
Carla – I’ll get the crisps
She goes into the back
Gus – Pint Honey
Ron – A pint and white wine a bit quicker please
Honey – One at a time so who’s first
Patrick, Gus, Ron – Me
Honey – Aaa


Scene 36 – Outside the tube
Grant – where is he
Peggy – Who
Phil comes up behind them
Phil – Me, I’m leaving Mum
Peggy – now
Billy – You and Mo on the same day
Phil – Yes now
Billy – well bye mate
Grant – bye bruv
Peggy – your going
Phil – Love you mum
Peggy – (as Phil walks away into the station) I love you son
Phil – Bye

Scene 37 – Back in the Pub

Yolande – (shouts) Silence Please Pauline or Joe speech please
Pauline – No
Joe – I’ll do it then well I don’t know what to say. I just want to Thank you all for coming and to tell you I love Pauline so much and lets raise a toast to the Future
All – To the future
Colin – here here

Scene 38 – Back at the station

Peggy – He’s gone
Grant – lets go back to the pub
Billy – Yeah

Scene 39 – Back in the Pub Billy, Peggy and Grant walk back in

Sharon – (Shouts) Hush Please, One last interruption until we party into the wee small hours. I just want to say a short speech if you don’t mind Pauline

Pauline – Of course not
Sharon – Walford has always been my favourite place in the world it’s my home, I may leave but I always return. And one thing that never changes is Pauline. She’s always here in Walford; she’s always there when needed and Is always a great friend to anyone that come cross her. One piece of advice don’t cross her or she’ll get out her frying Pan. Only Kidding but She has changed a lot today she is no more single and has extended her family and I’m glad to say Pauline Congratulations. And what I love about walford is that it’s full of friends and family so lets raise a toast To Friends and Family

All – To friends and family

Dot – And to Walford

All – To Walford

Scene 40 – The camera looks at the burnt out block before moving round to the slaters block then round to the truemans then round to the fowlers then round to the Vic as the theme tune starts to play

How do you know that Diane Parish is going to play Grace Julien or is that bit made up?

Chrissy if you enjoy writing you should check out the writers room at BBC.co.uk. Its a great resource and gives tips on writing for Eastenders.

You have your dialogue really well thought out.

This is the first script I've written, but I did prefer the story planing rather than the actual writting

Maybe you should think about being a Producer. Imagine its someones job to sit around all day and come up with plotlines and then tell the script writers to to put them into play.

Scene 1 – It’s very early in the morning, Pauline’s sitting on Arthur’s bench, A drunken Sonia, Naomi, Oliver and Gus come staggering up the market. Oliver and Naomi are singing YMCA.
Gus – Where are you staying tonight mate
Oliver – Well I was going to sleep in the surgery but just remembered it went up in flames a few hours ago
Gus – You where going to sleep in the surgery, no I’ve got a very comfortable sofa If you want it.
Oliver – Ta
Naomi – There’s your mother in law Sonia
Sonia – Ex thank you very much
Gus – See you later girls
Oliver – bye
Sonia – bye
Naomi – bye guys
Sonia – You go over to the house I’m going to talk to happy chops here
Naomi – Good luck you need it
Sonia sits down next to Pauline on the bench Naomi goes over to the brannings
Sonia – What’s up Pauline, let me guess Joe
Pauline – No it’s just I feel
Sonia – wow you can feel
Pauline – O forget it
Pauline stands up and starts to walk across the square
Sonia – (Shouts) Sorry Pauline I’m drunk
Pauline – It’s Ok
Pauline walks off down the market, Sonia walks into the Brannings.

Scene 2 – At the Wicks Pat comes out of the Living Room Carly comes down the stairs
Carly – Is he back
Pat – No I’m just going round to Stacey’s now
Kevin and Grace come down the stirs giggling
Carly – You do now Deano isn’t back yet and its all your fault
Pat – Now come on Carly we’ll go round to Stacey’s
Carly – No I’m going to look for him, you go to Stacey’s
Grace – What are you on about?
Pat – Kevin and Dean had a row and Dean walked out and hasn’t come back
Grace – When did you have a row?
Pat – Yester
Grace – I’m asking Kevin Pat
Kevin – Yesterday at breakfast, I tried to take the frying pan off him and he burnt himself
Carly – And he called him a pafetic little boy
Grace – That was a bit harsh
Carly – I’m off
Pat – Yeah me to
Pat and Carly leave the Wicks

Scene 3 – At the Vic Peggy is standing at the Till and Honey is at the other side of the bar cleaning it.
Honey – Mrs Mitchell what’s up you’ve had a face like a cow on since you came down this morning, your starting to make me miserable
Peggy – It’s my Phil he’s gone
Honey – Yeah to the Suppliers
Peggy – No that was my cover story
Honey – I don’t get it
Peggy – He’s left Walford
Honey – But he’ll be back right
Peggy – I don’t now
Honey – At least he can come back my dad’s gone for good
Peggy – But there’s something not right Honey
Honey – What
Peggy – I only discovered he was leaving when I went to the tube station to say goodbye
Honey – Your confusing me, I think your worrying over nothing
Peggy – Maybe your right
Honey – I’m always right (Ha Ha)

Scene 4 – At the Slater’s, there’s a knock at the door Charlie comes down the stairs to answer it, Big Mo comes to the Kitchen door to see who it is and as the door opens Stacey starts to come down the Stairs.
Charlie – Pat
Pat – Is your Stacey there
Charlie – yeah Why
Pat – Don’t worry she’s not in trouble, O Stacey I never seen you there can I have a word please
Stacey – Alright
Mo – Watch that one she might try and kidnap you
Pat – Watch your mouth Lady
Mo – What is it going to do a dance
Stacey – O shut up nan and go and make my breakfast, (laughing) Come in Pat
Stacey and Pat go into the Living room and shut the door as Bel comes down the stairs
Bel – What’s that all about
Charlie – Only god knows, I hope she hasn’t been causing trouble
Mo – O leave her along Charlie she’s just a kid, Breakfast Bel
Bel – No thanks I need my beauty sleep
Mo – God, You’d need to be in a coma to make you beautiful
Charlie – O you that’s my gal you’re talking about
Bel – Well I’d rather be in a come than passed it like you
Mo – Cheeky Cow, come here
Mo chases Bel up the stairs

Scene 5 – In the Slater’s Living Room Pat is sitting on the Sofa, Stacey is standing
Pat – Sit is not bad I just need to ask you a few things
Stacey sits down
Stacey – Ask away
Bel – Scream
Stacey stands up next to the door and bangs it with her fist
Stacey – Shut up will ya?
Pat – It’s about Deano
Stacey – Yes
Pat – Carly told me you went looking for him yesterday
Stacey – She told you right
Pat – Did you find him, Stacey please tell me the truth (With tear in eye), he never came home last night and I’m so worried
Stacey – I did find him
Pat - Where is he, is he Ok, what was he planning
Stacey – I’m not telling you here, Walls have ears follow me
They open the Living room door and Mo and Bel where listening in
Stacey – See what I mean

Scene 6 – Juley’s bedroom Ruby is in bed Juley walks in with a tray
Juley – I made you breakfast again
Rubz just talk to me babes
Just say something
Please Darling
Ruby – He’s gone
Juley - Yes I now babes
Ruby bursts into tears, Juley drops the tray and rushes over to comfort her he hugs her
Ruby – He can’t be gone He can’t
Juley – He is babes
Ruby – (Scream) NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Scene 7 – In the Square Pat and Stacey are sitting on the bench
Pat – What is it Stace
Stacey – Deano talked to me and he told me something
Pat – What is it
Stacey – You promise not to tell anyone
Pat – This is serious isn’t it?
Stacey – Yes do you promise?
Pat – I promise
Deano – He told me he was
Pat – God he doesn’t have HIV does he
Stacey – No he’s ….. (She hesitates)
Pat – What is it
Stacey – He’s Gay
Pat – What
Stacey – He’s scared about how his dad will react and I’m the first person he told, yesterday I forced it out of him then he stormed off, I don’t think we will see him again, You can’t tell anyone
Pat – Yeah
Stacey – I mean it Pat
Pat – I won’t tell anyone
Stacey - Well I need to go and see rubz now
Stacey stands up and goes to walk away but Pat says
Pat – Stace thanks for telling me, and tell Ruby I’m so sorry about her dad
Stacey – Of course see ya
Pat sits with confused face as Stacey walks across the square to Juley’s

Scene 8 – Carly is sitting at the war memorial she is crying. Mickey rushes up beside her
Mickey – What’s up babe?
Carly – Deano has done a disappearing act
Mickey – He’s left
Carly – he’s ran away
Mickey – Why
Carly – I don’t really now

Scene 9 Stacey and Juley are in Juley’s flats Living room
Stacey – How is she
Juley – terrible man
Stacey – Can I go in
Juley – Of course
Stacey goes into the bedroom
Stacey – Hi Rubes
Silence
Juley – She won’t talk Stace
Stacey – I’ll be back in a minute
Juley and Stacey go back into the living room
Juley – I’m struggling to cope here Stace
Stacey – I’ll be back in a minute, I know someone who can help
Juley – (As Stacey walks out the flat) Who

Scene 10 – At the Millers Rosie is sitting in Keith’s Chair and Dawn walks in
Dawn - Don’t do this to yourself Mum
Rosie – Do what
Dawn – You no what I mean
Rosie – I do, Dawn I miss him so much
Dawn – Of course you do
Dawn and Rosie hug as Demi peeks her head in the door
Demi – I’m going out
Darren is on the stairs he sees that Demi is upset
Darren – I’ll go after her

Scene 11 – Juley answers the door to Stacey and Sharon
Juley – Sharon
Sharon – Where is she
Juley – In the bedroom
Sharon – That one
Juley – No that one
Stacey – Come on Juley leave them to it
Sharon – Go to the Pub Juley I’ll come and get you later Ok
Juley – Ok but phone me if you need me my numbers in Ruby’s phone
Sharon – Of course
Sharon shuts the door
Sharon – Ruby darling It’s me Sharon
Can I come in Please
Ruby nods her head
Sharon – Thanks I now how your feeing Ruby, My dad’s dead, my mum’s dead, my ex boyfriend Tom and then Dennis. You will get through this you now
Ruby goes over and hugs Sharon
Sharon – It’s going to be Ok

Scene 12 In the square Stacey’s sitting on Arthur’s bench, Steven comes up beside her
Steven – Anyone sitting there
Stacey – Nope unless you are
Steven sits down
Steven – What’s your name?
Stacey – I’m Stacey
Steven – I’m Steven
Stacey – Your Pats grandson
Steven – Yip
Stacey – Pat’s ok I like her
Steven – Yeah me to, so what’s up?
Stacey – Nothing you’re here
Steven – Are you trying to chat me up
Stacey – Maybe, maybe not
Steven – So do you stay round here
Stacey – Yeah at the Slater’s over there
Steven – O you’re a Slater
Stacey – Yip
Steven – So what where you thinking about
Stacey – My mate Ruby, her dad died in that fire
Steven – I’m so sorry
Stacey – He was a nasty piece of work
Steven – O not the nicest bloke
Stacey – You’re a nice bloke
Steven – But I can be bad
Stacey goes to kiss him but is interrupted by
Sharon – Stacey
Stacey – What is it?
Sharon – It’s Ruby She’s collapsed
Steven – I’ll call for an ambulance
Sharon – I’ve done it
Stacey – Go into the Pub and ask for Juley and tell him to go home
Steven runs over to the Pub

Scene 13 – Steven runs into the Pub
Steven – Mrs Mitchell I need help
Peggy – What is it
Steven – Who is Juley?
Juley – I am
Steven – You need to come
Juley – Why?
Steven – Ruby has collapsed
Juley – What, I’m coming
Peggy – Honey watch the bar, I’m coming to Juley
They all rush out of the Pub

Scene 14 – Back at Juley’s Stacey has got a hold of Ruby’s hand
Stacey – Come on Ruby don’t give up on me Please Rubz don’t go
Sharon – Don’t worry she’ll be OK
Stacey – Are you a doctor
Sharon – No but
Stacey – Well I don’t think you can make that judgement Can you
Sharon – Well no but I do have a feeling
Stacey – If you don’t have anything useful to say Shut up will you
Juley, Steven and Peggy come in the door and July dives down beside her
Juley – Please let her and the baby be Ok
Stacey – The baby
Juley – She’s pregnant
Peggy – I think that’s the ambulance
Steven – I go and let them in
As Steven goes to go out the door Gus rushes in and pushes Steven out the way. Steven then Exit’s the room
Gus – What’s going on
Peggy – Ruby’s collapsed
The paramedics come in Gus pulls Juley away from Ruby and Sharon pulls Stacey away
Stacey – Please Ruby Please
Juley – Is she going to be Ok
Peggy – Excuse me She’s pregnant
Paramedic 1 – We need to get her straight to the hospital

Scene 15 – In the Vic Garry and Naomi are sitting by the bar, Honeys behind the bar
Garry – I miss him
Naomi – Minty
Garry – Well yeah but I was talking about Bobby
Naomi – Who
Garry – Sorry, Ian’s baby at one point I thought he was mine
Naomi – Ok
Honey – Hi Guys
Garry – Another drink
Naomi – No I need to go to Work
Garry – Come on your only drinking Orange Juice
Naomi – I need to go
Honey – Bye Pint Garry
Garry – Bye Yes Honey
Naomi – Bye
Naomi leaves the pub

Scene 16 – In the Market Carly and Mickey are walking up the market. Half way up Carly stops
Mickey – What’s up?
Carly – Take my hand will you
Mickey – Of Course
Mickey takes Carlys hand and they walk up the market across the square to the Wicks. Standing on the doorstep
Carly – Thanks for cheering me up Mickey
Mickey – It’s not a problem
Carly – You’re a lovely man Mickey
Mickey – Thanks
Carly – And a lovely Smile
Mickey – Thanks
Carly – I really like you Mickey
Mickey – I really like you to
Carly kisses him
When they stop Kissing
Mickey – Would you like to go out tonight?
Carly – Yes I would
Mickey – Good See you later
Carly – See you Sexy

Scene 17 – At the Hospital Ruby is being rushed along a corridor on a bed with Juley and Stacey following
Juley – Will She be Ok
Doctor – We need to get her into Surgery now so if you would like to go into the family room
Stacey – Come on Juley
They let the bed go along the rest of the corridor and Juley and Stacey walk into the family room

Scene 18 – In the Fowler’s living room Pauline and Joe are sitting watching TV
Pauline – I love you Joe
Joe – I love you two darling
Pauline – Want to go to the Vic
Joe – Ok
They get up and leave the fowlers

Scene 19 – At the Allotments Demi is sitting on a bench and Darren walks up beside her
Darren – I looked everywhere for you
Demi – Well you found me
Darren – Are you feeling any better
Demi – Everyone is just going and leaving me Leo, Dad
Darren – I’m still here
Demi – O Darren
Darren hugs Demi

Scene 20 – A doctor enters the Family News
Juley – Will you tell me what is going on
Doctor – I have news
Stacey – What is it
Doctor – Ruby will be Ok
Juley – Yes
Doctor – but we’ve lost the baby
Juley bursts into tears
Stacey – It will be Ok

Very very good. Excellent structure and well thought out.

Only criticism I have (and it's just my opinion, my two pence worth) is that there is perhaps a bit to much "back and forth" dialogue ("What?" followed by "How?" etc).

Pacey and has a nice flow.
