Can someone PLEASE tape Doctor Who tonight?

(EDIT: I think I've found someone, but it's still only a maybe. If it's no trouble for you to record it, then I may still need your copy of it. )

After missing the Christmas Invasion on Christmas Day, I was relieved to know that it would be on again on New Year's Day. However, I learnt today that I wouldn't be sat in front of the TV at 7pm as I'll be out. I've checked RadioTimes.com and apparantly there isn't another repeat of it any time soon. This worries me!

I really don't want to miss out on seeing David Tennant as the new Doctor and I can't watch it tonight. I was wondering if anyone would be so very very kind as to record it for me and I'd happily pay for the tape and postage?

Please!

Perhaps the most redundant question you could have possibly asked.

No. Why would I ask otherwise!

I thought perhaps you were being a bit simple.

ok really dumb question but if you can't record it what are you going to watch it on.

Just don't know how people can live without a VCR

*laughs and feels very stupid*

This is a good point.

I do have a VCR, but it eats up videos. However, I may be able to borrow one.

Unfortunately, as the service is in its infancy, it cannot be guaranteed to have the programme you want on it. I don't think TCI has made it on there yet. I'm not at home to check though so it might be by now

Its not on teleport or if it is I couldn't find it. I thought I hadn't videod it because I couldn't find it (my dad must have swapped the video without me knowing) so I was trying to get it on teleport at my friends but couldn't see it on there. Happily it worked and I've since watched it.

Have you ever used newsgroups?

I missed it myself on Christmas day, but downloaded it a couple of days later from a.b.tv.
