Offset lines on picture
MIKELE
01-01-2006
About a month ago I started getting interference on the picture from my DHD 4000 and wondered if anyone was experiencing the same or had an idea what might be causing it.

It manifests itself as about 1/5 of the lines being offset giving a jagged edge to the picture which is very annoying and makes it virtually impossible to read any text. It's difficult to describe but imagine someone running a comb horizontally across a we painting.

It started appearing for the first few minutes after bringing it out of standby or switching it on. However, now is there all of the time except on pictires that contain a lot of light colours in which case it seems to right itself for a few seconds intil the pitcture contains proportionately more dark colours.

Appears to make no difference what tuner is being used. Problem is on both live and recorded material.

Many thanks.

Have you tried using a different scart socket on the PVR/TV and/or a different scart cable?

Do you get the same problem if you tune the TV into the RF signal from the DHD?
