Just check for other threads with similar titles on this forum. It has to do with the time of day and the rating of the film.

Yes it's also happening to me.

it's the first time ive ever seen this happen. Is this a new thing Sky are doing? ie putting box office movies on sky movies 1. Im sure I robot isnt a box office movie tho.

I wonder why this is happening? it's all very strange.

EDIT: oh right i see, thanks for clearing that up.

Hands up how many people remember their SKy PIN? Not me and now its locked, and their customer service lines are constantly engaged.

It doesn't make sense putting the PIN on it because if you press red on Movies 7 for multistart there is no PIN protection on the same movie, just 15 minutes later

I'm watching it as we speak, and it never asked for a PIN code.

The new software obviously took no account of red button functionality!

i thought the pin was the last 4 numbers of the viewing card but it didn't work, how does one find out what the PIN is?

You either have to remember it, or ring up Sky to re-set/remind you of it. It'll only still be the viewing card number if no one in your household has changed it.

Only at the inception of your Sky subscription. If you or one of your family change it, it becomes whatever new number you type in!

Have you tried the last four digits of the viewing card in the living room (assuming your bedroom box is part of a Multiroom package)?
That might save you some time on the phone to Sky! Or just watch later showings of films when it doesn't prompt you for your pin!
