8 x Verbatum DVD-R
I have been the proud owner of a Pio 720 for 8 months now, using verbatim 4X DVD-RW discs (& JVC1-8X DVD-R), and I am pleased to say I have never had a disc fail.
I notice Verbatim have now released an 8X DVD-RW disc - do you know if this will work with my Pio 720 ? |

I have the 420 and the 8x discs work fine.
I have found though, that the -RW 4x discs that these recorders use won't work on my laptop. They won't even play on the laptop, let alone record |

Anyone got any recommendations for discs and more importantly ones to avoid as I don't want to get stuck with a stack of discs I can't play on other machines ie. PC and Yamaha portable DVD.

There's some Ritek x8 -R's on CD-R Media at the moment for the same price as x4's. Anyone tried x8 in the Pioneer? |
