Loved Daniel as Ivan again tonight. He is such a great addition and its great that Emmerdale are actually showing two blokes kissing a lot. I have a feeling that Edna will soon be working for Tom King up at Home Farm. 
:O cant believe you said marlon's actings awful! the scenes he did when tricia died were amazing, you could completely believe hed just lost everything hed ever wanted, especially when you look at sadie! she couldnt master any expression, let alone cry!
Marlon is one of the best actors in it...even if he is OTT at times, but I love his mad comic expressions and hand movements. The Trisha stuff proved he could do serious as well.
Loved tonight's episode. Poor Nicola's in for a shock! She obviously thought Ivan was talking about her as the person he's keen on! lol! That was sooo funny!
And I agree with Paul. Ivan is clearly gay and nothing else, he admitted as much himself that he's just doing what a lot of gay men do, tell themselves they like women as well, cos they're too scared to admit they're gay and it's safer to like women. They get called a jack the lad for bedding women and get beaten up for bedding men!
I love how naturally Emmerdale are showing Paul and Ivan as a couple .. well ... getting there as a couple! It was lovely to see them kissing like they were normal, cos they ARE normal! I've always liked Paul and I always liked Ivan, but I'm liking him more as this storyline develops. Kudos to the actors as well for making it look so real and not awkward!
The annoying thing about tonight - Marlon! it always annoys me when suddenly people start pining for people out of nowhere, specially as I have last Christmas's episodes on DVD and Marlon is completely comfortable with the fact it was a year after Tricia died, and was telling Donna that he was happy with her ... etc etc. And now suddenly a year later he's all depressed!

I missed most of it, but wasn't it because of the impending wedding more than the time of year? In which case it's believable enough.
Mark Charnock is a good actor but Marlon does my head in, it's all the hand actions that irritate me, I don't mind the faces that he pulls though.

And I remember last years, it was still Trisha-centric even though he was happy...he's bound to think of her at this time of year.
Shame the same can't be said for others - Louise should find Christmas horrible after Ray, then the following New Year she was in a car crash!

I wish they'd use Marlon just for comedy. He and Bob are a brilliant and hilarious double act, as was illustrated with the cookery competition and build up!

It happened for everyone I think unless it was a regional thing.
emmerdale is good at the minute cant wait for the scene when nicola finds out.It is a good storyline i bet there a lot of guys out there in ivans situation.

Tonights episode was good. I'm really liking the Paul & Ivan storyline and Nicola was fab tonight.
