Eastenders | 2nd January 2006
Phil cooks up another evil scheme. A young charmer arrives in Walford.....
More Phil being annoying then.....and Deano Wicks first appearance, I suggest we post first opinions of him here after the ep.

A new arrival on the Square stumbles upon the aftermath of Dennis's death. As Johnny fights for his life, Phil's mind turns to vengeance.

Matt di Angelo do you mean? I just hope he doesn't turn out to be like Warren Baldwin from Corrie, with a obnoxious personality and forced Cockney accent.
* I was only using Warren as an example, not trying to start more Corrie vs EE stuff. ![]() Not heard of the writer either. |

So do I, just not really forced false ones that market traders occasionally put on.

Glad to see that they're showing Dot mourning Dennis - he was like her son after all.
Also - Ian feeling guilty. I don't normally feel sorry for Ian, but I did just then. Agree with Mariceff, re: First Impressions of Deano (but I also said Stacy was another Janine, and got proved pleasantly wrong) |

I'll reserve judgement of Deano for a while but he's arrived in typical EastEnders fashion.
Couldn't he just turn up at Pats door instead of going all round the Square asking all the locals where she lived etc etc? There's 15 minutes left so what's the guessing the show ends with Deano knocking on Pats door, she opens it and he say's "Hello Auntie Pat" or something similar? I hope I'm wrong...... |

Actually, I quite like Deano already. The actor's rather sweet (calling Pat by her full name and all).
Phil - quite right on Dennis' part in his own death. Why he threw Johnny his phone I'll never know... |
