You mean thing, Hayley and Roy have hearts of pure gold - I cant believe you could say such a thing.

Im fed up with the Jack and Vera stuff already, they should axe them both. How many more times to we need to see Vera lamp one over Jacks head with her handbag.
This is not a sitcom, they should of divorced ages ago.

Didnt enjoy any of the two episodes. There goes my hopes of a better year in 2006 for Corrie.

WHAT Are you mad. They're an institution

Excellent 2nd episode.

Glad to see that the writers haven't forgotten that Gail & Sally are friends and have joined them together for the underage sex advice. A really good scene.

I love Sally but thought she was well out of order speaking to Hayley like that.

Mike/Penny/Adam scenes were very well done especially at the end. It looked a very realistic "push out the door" and not just a whimsical throw out.

Mike obviously didn't recognise Ed although he recognised Mike. A good storyline brewing here everyone.

9/10

Oh and another thing. I'm REALLY annoyed at the BBC for over-running "the other" by 2 minutes just to spoil it for the country.

I don't watch "the other" myself but i kept on flicking channels just to see how long it did it for and they're playing dirty tricks. Don't they realise that everyone may like both programmes and sort themselves out a bit. I've been keeping my eye out at this behaviour for a while and it' getting out of order. So much so I feel like complaining to the BBC. Does anyone know how to do this?

ITV are the worst culprits for this! There time keeping is atrocious.

No it isn't and some members on here (who know a lot more Corrie history than I do) claim that the characters who raided the factory were called Dave & Tommo so they don't know where "Ed" has come from.

Personally speaking, i think he changed his name by deedpole in prison when he became a born again christian thinking that a new name meant a better future and leaving the past behind him. (Possible theory)

Let's hope it does. These first few months of the year are always important for any soap with the BSA in May. Anything fresh in peoples minds goes in favour of votes so strong storylines and characters are always useful

I would love to work behind the scenes moreso than in front of the camera. Some, not all, characters have a limited shelflife and I wouldn't want to be kicked out if I wasn't popular.

However, working behind the scenes could be just as thrilling. I'd love to be in the storyline meetings/conferences.

I went on a Granda tour some years ago and you could have yourself filmed standing at the bar in the Rovers talking to the staff and other cast members. It was a bit of trick filming but I still have the video.

You lucky sod. I know Granada closed the tour back in 1999 but when I went to manchester last year, all I could manage was the gate
I tried to go into the museum next to it but couldn't find the right place inside to look out the windows
