Hello,

I've had my Thomson for about 18 months and up until now I've been very happy with it. About a month ago it started displaying a series of white lines over the top quarter of the screen for about 30 seconds then they go again. This problem is intermittent and happens about once an hour regardless of channel, it even appears on the menu screens. I've checked all the connections and they seem fine and I'm at a bit of a loss.

Has anyone else come across this problem before?

I had this. Switching off at the mains for a few minutes cured it.

Same here but with varying degrees of severety, as suggested, a plug pull usually works, wondering when it won't any longer though!

I had a similar problem just after I installed my Thomson, it turned out to be due to intermittent contact introduced by a poor quality euro plug/cable.

Thanks for the replies. I quick reboot did fix the problem!
