He was also touching on a lot of spiritual
and religious stuff too... discussions, phone ins....
getting controversial about gay matters too.... back on Talk Radio I mean, back in the 90s.
Being Greek, he was making me think of Van Gellis, I was going to write in
to Ceasar and suggest that he makes...
'Find My Way Home..'. song his theme tune... but before I could put pen to paper ............whiz... he was gone.
... and we were left with that sleezeball... Whale !
I just dont listen to talk sport now, nor even the bbc controled media. Im on the net now and internet radio (often talk) means the world's my oyster. ( not to mention all the pod casts available )

A few weeks after his departure I caught him on one of the sat porn channels in the 10 mins free view at 11 or midnight...
Caesar surrounded by a bevy of blondes.. some topless..,, nice work if you can get it !
I think that it was his moonlighting on a porn channel that got him the sack on Talk Radio ....
am I wrong ?

No it wasn't the porn. The stupid radio authority were threatening & leaning on Talk radio from day one.
The UK radio Authority, like all mainstream media bigwigs, are 100% against free speech, freedom of expression
& personality broadcasting unless it cow-tows to their so-called government endorsed BS.
They will never allow the American style shock jock format in England that's why 99% of talk radio here is bland, unlistenable, sanitized crud. And they've succeeded magnificently.
In 95 Talk radio had a lot of free speech but complaints were filed, presenters were warned & sacked, & management was replaced so that by 97/8 it was watered down drivel.
By the 2000s it was 70% daytime sport with a few hours of "chat". Now it's 100% sport.
That was the radio authorities plan all along - replace our freedom of expression with "circus".
A 10 year plan executed to perfection. I don't want to post too much as I sense many on here hate to accept these truths.

Anyway here's an article on Caesar's sacking in 95:

I did n't get on the internet till 2001
in the 90s my sat dish was the big thing.

I remember there was a radio station on there from miami and it was very interesting... a lot of talk, politics etc.

The guy on there said that the British authorities had contacted their station and they needed to request a licence to continue broadcasting into the UK territory... they were nt being banned but they needed to cow tow and request a licence.
They disappeared off astra soon after that .. I suppose they didn't want to go on bended knee to the UK government.... so that interesting and controversial radio station was gone.

The internet has changed everything... we can get hold of radio across europe, the USA, Canada... esp USA as they actually do have free speech over there............ for the time being !

Pre the internet everything was territorial broadcasting ... apart from the terrible reception of short wave
and that seemed to be all propaganda anyway.

The BBC is mass mind control, everything is filtered... everything goes thru various stages of control and they are continually telling us how wonderful they are.

Caesar seemed a bit like a radio anarchist but his big heart and his laughter was infectious.

There was a strange TV programme on at the start of talk radio filming Caesar in the studio taking calls....
mine gott... what a mug.....the guy definitely had a face for radio .......... ex club doorman... yeah, that's about right.... one of the heavy mob.

but where is he now ? is he on streaming radio or pod cast anywhere ?

It seemed that talk radio mgement gave him the chop in favour of the (bigheaded ) Whale

I was gutted Caesar was the best thing on radio

Hope he s still out there somewhere

hes a great talent”

I loved listening to Caesar on the old Talk Radio UK station you just never knew what was coming next and he was so so funny, they must have been completely NUTS to have got rid of him so early like they did. I read somewhere he's still working somewhere but can't remember now what it was he's doing, hopefully as I read more into the thread someone will have answered it.
Can you remember the imaginary butler/servant he reckoned he had always by his side?, wish I could remember his name, can anyone else?, the guy always had me in stitches and was far too good for that station anyway.

Caesar is the best!!!.”

Top post thanks for clarifying what Caesar is doing these days I wonder if he's still as funny these days as he was back in his Talk Radio UK days?, I hope so.

Er, thanks for the correction.

Which is why, sadly, when he was taken off air, a lot of people were expecting Tommy Boyd's unexpected appearance was a prank too.”

I remember that night when he played the hoax about doing the show from the street below lol, what a laugh.

As far as I'm concerned, he's on a probation period. I DO believe in second chances but I find it hard to stomach some of his past deeds.

A few people who can't stand him:

Ian Collins........regularly used to talk about him on his Talk Radio/talkSPORT show. Ian played 'The Yob' during the Invicta days and took over the slot when Caesar went to prison.

Rod Lucas..........was Caesar's mentor and now can't stand him.

Dave Barrett.........this man was very rude to me and I don't like him much, but Dave has his own reasons for not liking him.

I gather Chris Moyles, however, holds him in high regards, as a broadcaster at least.”

I really would like to know what he's done wrong in the past because I do like Caesar but I honestly don't know what he's done wrongly apart from moonlighting on some porn channel. I realise saying on here what it is if he has dome something could be delicate but if someone is willing to PM me and explain I would be very grateful to them.
Thanks to someone putting his twitter address on here and me then finding one of Caesar's links to SFM I am going to listen to his show next Sunday night at 9pm, that's unless someone really puts me off him by telling me he's done something really heinous because that would put me off him.

It's mainly haters spreading rumours doing what they do they best, so ignore them. If you like him, listen to him - end of.
It's "odd" how Caesar's off-air life is being put under the microscope exclusively, and yet we never scrutinize the personal lives & misdeeds of all the hundreds of other TV/radio presenters & journalists who literally spoon-feed us our opinions of the world around us day by day.
We don't say : "Oh <Insert name of media/TV/radio personality> has been on hard drugs, beat their girlfriend, shoplifted, crossdresses, was in prison, so I'm boycotting their show", do we? We still watch/listen, smile & applaud etc. oblivious to whether they are hypocritical scumbags in their personal lives. So why are people (not having a go at you, Billy244 ) taking such a critical approach with Caesar who hasn't done anything as bad as those things.
It just seems an inconsistent approach. If we only dealt with people whose lives were approved by our own subjective ethics we'd be alone.
Perhaps it's just me but I've always felt that liking an individual was out of my hands & even if they did bad things it wouldn't change how I felt.
On the other hand if I instinctively disliked someone, no amount of pandering on their part would ever change my mind.
For me Caesar always fell into the former, which is not to say he's done any wrong.

I remember being amazed listening to Caeser 'the boogieman' on Invicta Radio. He was winding up some 12 year old kid in Tunbridge Wells that he had not dialled Invicta but had instead got through on a crossed line to BBC Radio Bedfordshire in the middle of their farming programme! They had this kid going for about 20 minutes with this, farmyard sound effects, the yob pretending to be the farmer etc. Never heard anything like it ... unique radio. I recorded it, still have the tape somewhere I think

I noticed Caesar's site, not his radio station, but the other one -
http://www.caesarthegeezer.co.uk/ has been down a month or so.
It's a shame because he'd uploaded lots of recent good pics of himself,
his kids & grandkids. Some pics were p*sstakes though (Caesar's head
on Bhorat's body etc)
I'm hoping SFM's Pete Flynn (Brutus) will set up an audio archive of Caesar
so we can download shows we've missed. I know Caesar has personal archives
of his old shows from Invicta all the way to Capital gold - they need to be
uploaded/shared online!
It's ironic that Caesar's own station is music only.
It's a Bowling alley station & the bowlers demand non-stop up-to-date dance tunes.
If not for that, Caesar could do LIVE chat on there 7 days a week!
Btw, has everyone seen that Brass Eye episode where they did a wind-up on Caesar?
(Fast fwd to 20 mins in)

I have a real treat for you lot! I downloaded Caesar's earliest Forum posts from 1996 - 99.
Before Digitalspy there was alt.fan.caesar-geezer where his fans posted, flamed & dreamed.
Caesar would often reply personally back then. I've put it all in a notepad txt file for you
lovely people to download. Don't miss this, it's ALL the real history on the Boogeyman,
sometimes in his own words:

Be sure to click on the correct Download button, not the cheesy ads.
I don't know how long it'll be hosted so grab it quick!

What a difference a week makes. Listening to the live broadcast right now and Caesar is back on form. The balance of warmth and humour is exactly as it was during his time at Invicta. If he can manage to maintain an on air performance at this level he should have a successful latter day career in radio.

Tonight was Caesar GOLD! Reminded me of Invicta & Kiss100 days.
Dan the producer does press dump too often though which is a good
and bad thing. Very promising stuff overall
