He left Talk Radio in 1995, there was only a fledgling RealAudio doing streaming audio and 28.8 modems..... something like that was a long way off and the internet not very well known.

If David Icke is 'alternative media' then we can do without it.
Caesar was not 'alternative media'... he was a populist and without a journalistic bone in his body. I remember a story about him going off on one because he'd discovered the letters 'IRA' on a US payslip.... before someone pointed out that it was to do with tax.
There's also a major credability gap, no-one trusted him
