What do you mean "how does it work"?

T-Mobile give you 1000 free texts. With all due respect, which part of that do you not find straightforward?

I understood that the free 1000 text offer from t-mobile expired on 31st December 2005
(i.e. you had to activate a SIM before that date to benefit)

To have obtained it, you needed to activate your Mates Rates PAYG SIM (by topping it up), then T-Mobile would have automatically sent you a text to confirm that you have 1000 free texts (available to use within 90 days of SIM activation)

Text chat, text play, text game messaging, texts to landlines, group text, text to non-UK networks, texts to premium rate numbers and texts sent from abroad were all excluded.

Is there another offer?

1000 text offer available for tops until 31st January 2006. You will be notified by text once your text bundle has been applied to your account, this should be within 5 working days from your first top up. Free texts are available for 90 days from the date they tell you that the bundle has been applied.

Has it been extended to the end of January now then? Where did you hear this? I thought the offer was only until the end of December.
