Does anybody else notice that everytime she delivers her lines she uses the cheesy grin afterwards. I find her acting terrible.

Bonny girl but needs more acting lessons i think.

I really cannot stand the character of Dawn and yeah the actress isn't great either. Some of those scenes where she was flirting with Jake were just soooo bad I was cringing. There never seems to be any real emotion in her acting, well apart from whe she wants money to go to the sales of course

Either she has a bad script or she is just plain awful. I don't like the part, she plays, well I dislike her with a passion. What a shallow character.

I'm not a big fan of hers, I do find her rather irritating.

Actaully her acting is Good she ia acting out an annoying character Just like how Nigel Harmen was acting out a wooden character. The actors themselves act out so good we think that there putting in no effort so therefore the not acting. She was acting different when they was in france and when they 'came' back to england thats when she found her charactrisation (sp) and started potrayind Dawn this way.

I honestly think it's just the way the character is suppose to be - I've seen a number of things that Kara has been in and in practically all of them her acting has been nothing but perfect. I'm a little frustrated with the character of Dawn to be honest - I hope she gets some better storylines to get her teeth into in the near future. x

i saw her yesterday in a restaurant in Kew and she seemed a lot prettier in real life, clothes and make up more subdued, and she has a lovely smile and seemed really friendly, so yes it is the character.

If that is the way the character is supposed to be (with the over theatrical, affected manners and twitches, blinking and wiggling her arms, head and upper body) it means this is how she is going to be from now on and that we as viewers will have to suffer it every time she's in a scene. In that case I wish she'll be written out sooner rather than later as it's been awful so far and she's come across as a really bad actress rather than just an 'annoying' person. She's almost as theatrical and orange as Sharon at her most exaggerated performances .

Agreed re the orange bit the make up artist should be sacked. Pity as she's a good looking girl too.
