Well after trying to find out if you could send in Scripts to the BBC for Eastenders or other Serial dramas showing now, your not allowed they want your own orgianl work so I need your help! As i slowly write the script and story I want you with me all the way to help me guide me and decide if its gripping enough or what to add! I have written the first bit about how the story is going to happen so have a read and tell me what you think!

A Beautiful Life (La Bella Vita)

A Beautiful Life tells the story of two family’s (A mother and son & Father and daughter) fighting to keep their loved ones happy and not lose the closet thing to them after losing there over half. We see the life’s of the children as they slowly tear away from their parents and wish that there other parent was still alive.

It hasn’t been an easy for life for Karl, after losing he’s dad things took a turn for the worse when he’s mother (Mariah) tried to end her life in her own hands. Watching he’s life flash before he’s eyes and the people he lived around him slip away he turned to self harming himself and blaming himself for them not loving him and wanting to die. We begin the story with Karl sitting next to he’s mother side-bed in hospital.

Part 1 – Scene 1: Mariah Wakes up from her coma.

[Karl’s mum wakes up from a coma that she has been in for the past 4 weeks]
Karl: Mum..? Thank-god… [Crying with Joy] Doctor!
Doctor: Stand back give her some room.
[Karl Stands back]
Mariah: Hello son.
Karl: I missed you even though I was right next to you for 4 weeks.
Mariah: What happened?
Karl: You was in a coma, the doctor said that they wasn’t to sure if you would make it, but I knew you would fight it all the way.
Mariah: Why didn’t you let me go?
Karl: Don’t say that, I didn’t want to lose the only thing I had left.
Mariah: But maybe I wanted to go, maybe I wanted to leave this world…

Titles Roll.
Music plays: Goo Goo Dolls – Sympathy

As the music plays we watch Karl and Mariah get into the Cab with the rain pouring down the window and the camera focusing on Mariah.

UPDATE 3RD JAN 2006 4.19

It hasn’t been too easy for little Kirsty either, having lost her mother and father (Gary) barely around to look after her, Kirsty has been on her own since she lost her mum. Her dad has hit the drink and Kirsty’s dad is slowly slipping away from her. After being hit by her father several times Kirsty wants to be free from her father but can’t walk out and leave him to rot in hell.

Part 1 – Scene 2: Kirsty makes breakfast for her dad.

Kirsty: Dad! Breakfast.
Gary: I’m not hungry.
Kirsty: But dad you’ve to eat.
[Shouting] Gary: Don’t tell me that I have to eat!
Kirsty: Don’t shout at me, you haven’t eaten in days, but if you don’t want to eat ill feed it to the pigs as they would be more grateful!
Gary: Yer they will be! [Walks over to the fridge] Where’s the beer gone?
Kirsty: Somewhere, where you can’t have it!
Gary: That’s my beer and you have no right to take it away from me.
Kirsty: Yes I do! Look at you! You’re a drunken git. I hate seeing you like this, everyday I watch you drown your feelings and I can’t watch you no more.
Gary: Well don’t watch me then, now give me back my beer. [Pushing Kirsty against the wall]
Kirsty: Go on hit me! Hit me like you hit me last time! Hit me again and again
[Interrupting] Gary: Don’t push me Kirsty!
Kirsty: Go on! I’m not scared of you no more!
[Letting go of her and backing of] Gary: Just get out, get out of here!

[Kirsty Leaves the house and slamming the door behind her]

Interesting but are the two familes going to combine and surly Karl would call for a doctor

He does call for a doctor I missed out that line when I copied and pasted it.

Yes the familes will combined but im not gonna tell you how

But what do you think of the begginning, with the music as well?

Also, Im gonna keep this updated so every scene i will post it up etc, but Ive saved the link for the first post so im gonna try and edit that and add them there everytime, instead of scrolling for it through posts if there is any

Chrissy 2005, do you like that music that goes with it? Also how do you think they will meet?

Yeah the music is good and I think the mum and dad will get together

Thats one thing I told myself i wouldnt do as everyone will suspect that, theres a couple of twsits in their, Im writing the 2nd scene for the Daughter and Father one, this shows us what the father is really like But i love that song for the beggining, but i can tell you for one thing they wont get together.

Sounds too US daytime soap for the BBC to be interested.

You know you can write an Eastenders type script and then change the names and location.

Ok then looking forward to the next scene

As i said its not a soap, its a serial drama like a one off thing you get once in a while. I know you can do that but it has to be a complet show thing so thats why you cant write them

Can you tell me why it sounds like a US daytime soap thing, what makes you think that?

What after eastenders one you made or one for me?

After the one I made, the birthday episode that was a one hour ep and the next one is a half hour

To make life easier, ill just add it all at once at the end
