No it is free to receive, as it is free to receive on a mobile. It would not be right to charge someone for something they have no control over.

If you want to ban text messages being sent to your home phone call: 0800-587-5252 which will stop any more messages.

When someone sends a text from T-Mobile phone to a landline, the landline user will recieve an automated call directly from T-Mobile reading out the text message. The service is not operated by BT and to stop any future texts from T-Mobile phones call 07953-966-066 from the phone you wish to ban texts on.

To listen to new or saved messages, call the following:

Text messages sent from all UK networks except T-Mobile: 0845-602-1111

Text messages from T-Mobile phones: 07953-966-066
