Corrie's Sophie
I'm hoping that the blatant favouritism Sally shows towards Rosie will soon develop into a really good storyline for Sophie.

I think solvent abuse would be a good storyline for Chesney and Sophie, no one would notice they were doing it at first and it could build up over a few months. Then one of them decides to quit and tries to stop the other, they fall out over it and the one who continues falls deeper into the addiction...

Can't we have something in a more positive vein. Haven't we got enough youngsters getting attention for all the wrong reasons. Yes, Sally does neglect Sophie and should be given a wake-up call, but please let it be because Sophie has actually achieved something worthwhile in spite of Sally's appalling parenting.

I think this "new" Sophie is great. The old one never used to say much, just faded into the background
I know she must be in it a good 2 years now?? I also think she looks so like her screen father Kevin. I did wonder whether they were real father and daughter. She is a typical pre teen. |

I'm really liking the Websters at the moment because of the two girls. Sophie has me in fits - she's a proper little smart alec, I think its going to turn out she's far more intelligent than her sister, we seen bits and pieces of her sounding quite clever, although a little obnoxious, but that's what tweenies are all about!!! In order to get Sally attention it would have to be something major. Kevin tries but the only time they've really paid her attention at the moment was when she got tarted up and went out late at night and smoked. I do feel for the poor girl.

I think Sophie is one of the best characters on Corrie.
It would be good if she got herself a 'bad boy' boyfriend who was totally loaded (unbeknown to Sally of course). Sophie would then come home with loads of designer goods which Sally would assume she had nicked. Then she could say to Sally that she was going on holiday with her b/f and his family. Sally would kick up a fuss, say no etc etc. Sophie would sneak off anyway and end up skiing in Kloisters or somewhere, get to know some minor royals and end up being a socialite!

She's definitely the funnier one!!! She does make me laugh when she's onscreen, especially as she usually annoys Sally!!!

No it means preteens. I've heard quite a few people use it. I thought it was quite a cool word!

I hate it when soaps try to make kids grown up, Chesney and Sophie both are childish and have that innocense about them, the worst thing to happen to them in the next 2 years is to have sex and have kids, ugh! |

I apologise if its not a proper word. ![]() I was seeking your superior knowledge in clarifying its use as a word! You've obviously not got kids

Tweenies has been used for years to describe preteens. It has nothing to do with the Tweenies children's show.
