New headphone recommendations........
.....for my Creative Muvo Tx FM please.
One of the earphones has started to crackle on the headphones supplied with the player, so I'm in the market for a new set. I use the player for the gym mostly, so a set that actually stays on your head/in your ears is what I'm after. The player uses the wire to the earphones as the aerial for the radio. Does this mean that only certain headphones will work, or shouldn't it be a problem? Price wise I suppose I'm after something mid to upper range. Thanks. Dave. |

What is mid to upper price range? To me (being an audiophile) that would be £100+ but given what it is connecting to I doubt that is what you mean.
Sennheisers is an excellent make - do a search on the forum though as there have been several threads on this recently. |

OK Thanks.
Not really looking to spend that much. I can't see the point spending that on headphones for a 512K player using MP3's. |

A mate at work just got himself a set of these ...
http://www.minidiscaccess.com/item.html?PRID=1384913 Personally, I don't like in-ear phones at all ... but, I was pleasantly surprised by these ones. They were comfortable and actually sounded pretty good. The extra depth would probably be good in the gym I'm guessing. I think he paid about £30-ish for them.

Thanks for the input.
I'd posted this on a couple of forums and ended up going for the Sennheiser PMX200's . Dave. |
