Hi

Toppy is set up and working wonderfully, but i can not get the dvd player to work.

The dvd is connected by scart from the toppy and thetoppy is connected to the TV by scart etc.

Prior to installation of the toppy, whenever the dvd player was turned on theTV would automatically show the DVD. Now nothing happens?

Any ideas on how I can get the DVD player to work?

Why not connect the Toppy directly to another Scart socket on the TV? Are there none spare?

Alternatively, try pressing the button directly above the "2" on the remote (looks a bit like a radio telescope), which should persuade the Toppy to feed the DVD signal through to its output. You may also need to change the menu item in Settings / AV Output / VCR Scart type.

Do you have the TV and DVD in the appropriate sockets? If they are reversed, probably the Toppy will work but the DVD won't.
