I'm getting mixed responses to this question in the shops and online. The guys on here seem to know more about what they are talking about though.
Bought this TV over a year ago expecting it to be HD ready.
I think it lacks HDMI but not sure.
Can anyone here tell me if it will work with SKY HD at all assuming i decided to subscribe.

Thanks

It lacks HDMI and Component Video but has DVI, so I don't think it can be called a true HD-Ready TV.

Technically no.

However the DVI is HDCP compliant so no problem connecting a PS3 or other HDMI device (SKY HD, upscaling DVD player) and the DVI doubles up as a analogue component input.

I bought it's smaller brother last year, knew at the time it would support SKY HD but the HD Ready spec wasn't mainstream when these models were launched.

Alas SONY uses the term in press releases to knock the xbox360 and now it seems it's being linked rightly or wrongly to the ultimate display for viewing the current accepted HD specs.

As it's HD Ready then it will serve all expected HD broadcasts and upcoming HD from pre-recorded media/consoles.
