Clicky me

Now is it me or is that sea? I'm pretty sure this shouldn't be there as they were over London. Is this some location gaffe? Or did the special effects miss it out. Ithought it was funny anyway!

You'll probably find it's a 'photo taken on location, in this case the fight scene was on a beach. The aerial image of London was added on after filming.

think that whole fight scene would have looked much better as a wide shot showing london below etc giving it a bigger scale, though no doubt the budget wasent limitless, just thought the direction felt a bit sterile at that point.

I noticed how when the Doctor was actually fighting on the sycoax rock and he lost his hand the sycorax behind him kept disappearing and reappeaing. (sorry can't spell)

yeah! When he says 'Now I know what sorta man I am...' he's against the sky,

When he says 'Just by chance, I'm within the first 15 hours of my regeneration cycle bla bla bla.' he's against the ship.

When he grows back his hand, he's against the sky again!

I'm not bothered really - didn't notice it until I wanted to get a pic of his hand growing...

When the Sycorax guy fell towards earth, it looked like the same London map they use in Eastenders. Wouldn't it be great if he turned up in Albert Square, he'd probably fit in

The fight scene was filmed in some beach somewhere (according to the comentry) and the ship/sky/london added later.

It was also heavily hinted that is was indeed the opening titles to eastenders that they used as a backdrop

The hand should turn up in eastenders ala adams family 'thing' stylie... thou prob better acting

Post-regeneration, the Doctor has his hand chopped off = no blood.

Post-regeneration, the Fifth Doctor bangs his head = blood.

Ahhhhh, the quality of "residue vortex energy".

The 10th Doctor obviously has a much better circulation system than the 5th - blood clotting, what a marverllous idea!

Speaking about the 5th Doctor ... take a look at this!
