Just purchased this dvd recorder and for the life of me i cannot find the button to open/close the dvd tray using the remote.....any ideas??

I have the ES10 and, having looked for it on this remote, am sorry to say there isn't one! I would guess your's is the same.

How can you open the tray from the luxury of your own bed now then!!!

Apart from owning an Alba machine for 15 days (just inside Argos's refund period) this is my first DVD Recorder too. An excellent machine from what I've found so far, apart from all the endless walking to open the disk drawer
