Toshiba 20WLT56
I purchased this about 2 weeks ago and when I turn the TV off it tends to go into Standby mode (red light on TV). Is that normal or should I turn it off at the Mains too. But would I then lose all settings/or retune TV again?
Apart from that am very happy with it. Thanks |

If you turn it off at the remote then it should go into standby - most TVs go "off" when you use the button on the front.
I cant comment on your specific unit but I have never heard of a unit that losses its settings if turned off at the mains. Unlike CRT screens though LCD/ Plasma use next to no electricity whilst in standby |

Apart from that am very happy with it. Thanks That particular model should not lose its tuning and analogue settings if switched off. |
