The Bill - UK Gold
Just watching the Bill........ Des is in court and Reggie Baby is being held hostage.... It's just come back on after an ad break.. The dozy continuity bird was going on about stuff like winning things and next on the chanel is Holby City.. Right at a key point of the bill.... most annoying

Just watched it and thankfully there was no interuptions so I got to see the whole episode. I think this may have been the first episode I watched in full years ago. Nicely done and I've gotta watch it tomorrow too.

UK Gold Bill seem to really be bridging the gap between old Bill and bew Bill right now. They've got so many characters that are there now, as well as the old ones too.
Does anyone know if 4pm is the permanent time in the afternoon now as it seems to have been some time since it was shown at 3pm in the afternoon slot. |

If it wasn't for UK Gold +1 i would of missed nearly all of this weeks. As far as i can see, it will be on at 4pm all next week. but if i was you i'll keep an eye out on the Tv guides just in case they change it back again.I'm also looking forward to watching Sam Nixon's first day at Sunhill as i missed seeing this episode when it was first shown. |

Yeah, Phil's already started, but only a few weeks ago. He's got the undercover drugs storyline coming up next week, from Monday 9th.

argh I missed it today, really wanted to see Sams 1st day as I missed it 1st time round
Anyone know how many more of the newer eps they're gonna show before going back to some older stuff? Like someone else it's getting quite close to the new bill now. Although the whole serial killer thing has started, absolutely loved that storyline so wouldn't mind watching again. Apart from poor Cass of course

On his arrest, bog-bloke wanted to make a deal, so he gave up his drug-dealer. Cue another arrest for Mr Flash. Back at the station, Cass Rickman is the jailer and see recognises Mr Ugly Drug-dealer as Nick Klein's dealer. Uh-oh! He recognises her, and Nick decides to let Mr Ugly see him, so as to take the heat off Cass if he blabs. In the interview, Mr Ugly manages to have a quiet word alone with Phil and mentions Nick as a customer. Phil stores away this info and a not so beautiful relationship is formed as he blackmails Nick. |

I also missed todays episode as I had a friend round so we were watching DVDs instead.
Looking on theBill.com todays episode was first shown on August 27th 2002 and was episode 38 so that's where we are now it seems. I'm really looking forward for the episode where everything falls apart for Chandler as I never saw that first time but heard that it was good viewing. |

I loved todays episode, especially another one of Gina's quick witted remarks to Phil. Pure genius!

I've just watched all of last weeks The Bill on UK Gold, and really enjoyed watching the re-runs of these episodes as i never saw all of them first time round. Reg Hollis getting kidnapped, the Simpson trial, Craig Gilmore and Luke Ashtons kiss were all shown, the serial killer storyline have just started, and on Fridays episode Sam Nixon started her first day at Sunhill. I also can't wait to see the down fall of Tom Chandler again.

During yesterday's episode there was a voiceover half-way through the programme.
Most annoying as you say! |

I hope their rewind aint for ages. It's so good to have many of the newer cast members now. If they were to rewind to 1995 or something I probably wouldn't be as hooked to it as I am now as I'm just enjoying the closeness to the new eps so much.
There is so much coming up. One of the things that hasn't been mentioned is Mickey's rape as I'm sure that is gonna be soon. It should be really worth seeing that episode, especially as it's such a huge issue that is avoided by most soaps and dramas. |

Watching these old eps has been such a reminder of exactly how nasty Phil is. In the current episodes i think he's portrayed more as a sort of romeo/jack the lad type character when actually his original character was much darker. When I thought Phil and Sam might get together is was kinda nice but actually sam deserves much better so I hope they don't go there again.
Phil is evil

I don't think Phil is evil in these episodes, i think he's ruthless. I haven't seen these old episodes before so this is another side of Phil that i didn't know about. In these epsiodes he wants things to run the way he wants it to, and don't care what happens to people who gets in his way.
Also poor Mickey has been transferred to Barton Street by evil Tom Chandler, as he was getting to close to the truth about his dodgy past. I can't wait to see the end of Chandler. |

Yeah poor Mickey. It was clear no-one was happy about it. Chamdler is such a b******. Does anyone know roughly how long it's gonna take to get to get to Chandler's downfall?

Yes, maybe ruthless is a better word for Phil but his manipulation of Nick is just downright nasty. Now Chandler he really is evil...... |
