Quite so, how some of the kiddies here can't see that is beyond me. Still I expect mummy and daddy are paying the bill.
”

what more can you expect from them, mummy and daddy get them everything their little hearts wants, they have no concept of reality or how to deal with it, but c4 will probabaly send them a goodie bag

I've been following the van it seems to stop on these sequence of numbers all the time ***** 1544 01.

I'm not really sure what this means. It so funny that a lot of people I know appears to be following the same van as me they got that same number sequence. When if finally stops it actually speaks and this is what is says " you've voted for Alex to win.

I really like playing follow the van since thursday.

If there was only one vote allowed per Telephone number then this wouldn't be an issue.

But they do allow it, so people will have to vote more than once or there fav HM will end up last.

All we are doing is fighting fire with fire.

What do you expect fans to do? If the best weapon is multiple votes then thats what they'll use.

JRWood, how much did you win then? How many figures? I'm dying to know

Do a search on my posts just before Alison went and in the newsgroups (my newsgroup name is different though to here..) - I predicted Alison out on there and lots of people helpd with the voting..and won a lot themselves too

To be honest Ive only bet heavily in the first few weeks of any BB show, you never get any decent odds as the gameshow goes on except for perhaps Jade and she's a risky bet imho, although worth spending £50 if you want to.

Blimey, I will have to wait till next year now then! I'm not very clued up when it comes to betting to be honest, it's always interesting to hear of people winning a fair bit though. Well done

I used to hang around the newsgroups, you can quite clearly see my post just before it was announced saying who won lol

But I did make a point in the newsgroup that if people betted heavily that Alison would be out!... ill be back next year giving my predictions as somebody universal.nowhere

< social responsibility mode on >

I gather there are quite a lot of people in Angola, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique who could help you spend it ...

BBG - of the opinion that he might like some of the tax he pays to go towards feeding people throughout the world rather than his post-tax earnings!

Congratulations that man.
BTW don't worry the first 21 years are the hardest, after that you're too knackered to care.

BBG

i give regulary to charity, i didn't relise that by saying i spend my money on something else (however trivial it might seem) made me a selfish person.

I have seen what suffering people go though in poorer counties, so dont think i dont relise.

by saying i have been voting since last week does not mean i have to justify it by saying how much i do or give to charity

so get off your high horse.

Absolutely agree.
When you consider what you would spend on a good night out most evenings of the week for 8 weeks then a few quid for Alex is well worth it !

Assuming you're still there ... CHILL

That wasn't aimed at you 'in that way' at all ... sorry if you were offended. Please re-read my post and show me the bit that said you were selfish ... I didn't say that and if I did it would be pretty stoooopid given that I don't have access to your banking records ... yet

Back now? Good!

Don't think that every response to your posts is aimed AT you. If it was then every thread on here would ultimately be of the 'tennis match' variety.

My main beef is that the 'situation' in southern Africa is seemingly the responsibility of charities spending OUR post-tax earnings. I kinda think that the some of the £££s that get raked off us in tax ought to be used in the old 'global responsibility' fund.

Anyway - ridiculously off-topic so I'll shut up now.

OK i think i kinda overreacted but its when you replyed to wot i said i was just taken aback that you assumed that i dont think about others when you dont know me.

I am glad that you dont have access to my bank account which is a good thing!!!!

I totally agree with what you said about charitys not using the money well. I have heard storys of how the red cross use the money and i dont like it either.

anyway, BB3 is over now!!!! hope i make sense have not had my latte yet

Perfect sense made

Misuse of funds wasn't really the point I was making (although it is a very good one). I'm more concerned that an insufficient proportion of my tax payments go to overseas aid / development. I consider myself a citizen of the world first and a citizen of the UK second (if that doesn't sound too much like a bunch of tree hugging hippy crap!).

BBG <giving myself this handle seems to have given me a UN-style outlook! Just as well I chose carefully ... I could have gone for Slobodan Milosevic and ended up 'cleansing' Basildon. Then again ... >
