Just wandering what is everyone's opinion of the flexible record function on the DMRE50.
I tend to record sporting events which often go over the 2 hour period. However, the priority for me is the picture quality.
Just wandering what is the pic quality like if you use the flexible disc function. What will the pic quality be like when you convert it to a disc.
I recorded a 3 hour 10 minute sports show on the flexible record and was quite pleased with the picture - pretty much on a par with a normal SP (2hour) recording. What is it like if you use the full 8 hours - does the picture quality decrease - if yes, when does the decrease become noticable.
