Thanks for the info, aguleb. I'm going to plus it then I can skip through most of the R&J stuff until JB is on. 
He's talking about Torchwood... although he can't say much. How thick am I not realising it was an anagram of Doctor Who!!??

From reading between the lines re. John's comments about the need to keep CJ's character reasonably 'clean' in order that he can return to DW at a later time, it sounds to me like he will perhaps provide the voice of conscience to an otherwise military-minded Torchwood.
