I'm not exactly sure but newspapers have given Helens age as 14 in November(The Star- yes its the star but still a newspaper) last year and 15 years old in the manchester evening news on Feb 15th this year(2 days ago) so her birthday is definitely around the same time as that of her character, though it would be a wild coincidence if it was Christmas day like Rosie's.
