Problems with the 9200T
Terry M
10-01-2006
I am experiencing the following problems with a newly purchased 9200T.
1.Upon initialising from standby, the 9200T cuts off both sound, and picture, from either an analogue TV channel,or the alternate AV channel.Sound, and picture are restored when initialisation has been completed.
2.Crosstalk is being produced on the alternate AV channel.
3.Interference is being produced on the analogue TV channels.
I have not experienced any of these problems with either a Humax 8000T,or a Pace Twin.
Do I have a faulty 9200T?

This is normal I think.
Mine does the same & lasts for about 7s during initialisation after resume from standby.
Hopefully Humax might fix this.
For the moment I live with it.

Try insulating pin 19 on the scart lead (this has been discussed in other threads).

I telephoned Humax Technical Support who advised that loss of sound, and picture,is a known problem, and is being investigated as a possible software fault.
Since no date is envisaged for a software update, and the fault interrupted a recording I was making on my DVD recorder,I have returned the unit.
The machine even emits interference when recording in standby mode.
