Just heard that apparently there's a festival at Alexandra Palace in April, a two day thing, called 'Give It A Name' festival ...

An internet search tells me that a few bands have been announced including Lostprophets, Goldfinger & The Ataris, however I can't find any more info on it. I found what seemed to be an official website address but couldn't get it to work.

There seems to have been one last year aswell, did anyone go? Does anyone have any info on this years?

Give it a names been going on for a while as far as i know, anyway hears some info for you as best as i could find.

Sorry, i got a few details wrong.

The London Give It A Name is at Earls Court NOT Alexandra Palace this year, Its the weekend of the 29th/30th April

Tickets have gone up to £28.50 per day, or a 2 day ticket for £55 (Well worth it IMO)

Doors open at 1pm both Days

I also got the lineup days muddled up, but i can tell you this lineup is now 100% Confirmed and should be confirmed on websites ect at some point today/tommorow.

It's gonna be amazing! I got weekend tickets. It's also happening in Manchester. Basically the bands playing on Saturday in London Earl's Court e.g MCR etc will be going to Manchester on the Sunday. And vice versa so Lostprophets etc will be playing on the Sunday in London. Thrice and Billy Talent have also been confirmed for the line-up! Yay! I'm a mahoooosive fan.

EMO FEST!! ...well mainly! A few non emo bands, lostprophets and GoldFinger.... but yeah some people from my college went to it last year, its just full of greasy, long fringed people, whose sex can't be distinguished.

I shall be in manchester for "my chemical romance". Taking eldest son along and we cant wait!!!
